This hotel is high up on a hill overlooking the city and the waterfront. Beautiful views. It's a hike waking up the stairs to get there although.
A bit dated, but everything worked and the bed was super comfortable. Two complaints, the staff was good and attended to everything, but no one spoke English, funny in a place that has mostly English speaking guests. Also, the nightclubs on the Malecon are very loud at nights and go on until the early hours of the morning. No bad when you close the windows, but you would think that business would be slow after 2 and they would quiet down.
There is a very good restaurant at the top floor of the hotel, good meals, a tad expensive but no complaints about the food or service.More
