We enjoyed a quick walk along the boardwalk. We took a bus from paradise village and that was a little tricky. We took a taxi home. But we enjoyed the walk along the boardwalk and peaking in stores. There are better deals up the street at the flea market but it’s worth the walk.

On our first visit, back in 2015, we had spent a Sunday morning walking the malecon. Came away not that impressed. Maybe it was the overcast day, the oppressive heat, or the lack of people (we heard most had gone home for the summer already). Whatever it was, we weren't that excited to see it again this time, but ended up down in that area after a walk through the Isla Cuale area. It was SO different this time! For one, it was beautiful weather so much earlier in spring, and there were lots of people so it had a festive atmosphere and was more vibrant. We watched the Voladores and enjoyed seeing many children riding or pushing their bicycles which were decorated for the children's parade leading up to Semana Santa. We enjoyed it so much that we went out to see it at night, as well. By night it is beautiful, bustling with families out walking, couples sitting on benches enjoying the evening, and the lights sparkling off the water.

The Malecon is the center of PV. A perfect place to go for a walk, stop on the beach for a snack, or venture down a side street for a wonderful dinner. There are so many to choose from it is almost impossible to decide. You must walk the Malecon Boardwalk if you visit PV. So much to see and do - music, farmers market, food stands. Beautiful and exciting! A must see.

Great for pictures and the view is amazing! We walked up and down and shopped. There are street performers that are really fun to take pictures with!

The Malecon is a place in Puerto Vallarta you and the family must go to. It has something for everyone. It has great dining, sand sculptures, great bars, live entertainment, something for the whole family.
