Delicious yucatan-style food served in a no-frills style in a no-frills "restaurant", but don't let that put you off - this place is all about the food, the flavours and the great prices.
There are actually three branches of this growing chain that I know of - in Lomas de Cortes where it started, one in Av San Diego almost as you reach Barona, and one now in a new plaza in Av de los Reyes. All are the same counter-style servery with a few plastic table and chairs to sit at, nothing fancy at all, but that doesn't matter. Once you try the tacos de marlin, or the panuchos de cochinita pibil, or the varied caldos, you'll forget where you are sitting and be transported off to the Yucatan with a cold Montejo in hand. You'll also find some more unusual dishes on the menu, especially at weekends - the pork rib estofado with tomate was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten in Mexico in over a decade. It was that good. .
This is an unusual dining experience where you should be more adventurous if you can, you will be rewarded. And don't worry about the surroundings, the prices are extremely reasonable for a reason - just enjoy the delicious and superb food.
They also sell food by the kilo for takeaway - I recommend a kilo or two of marlin for any party, just buy some tostadas and cold beers and you are set for a fine time.
