Beyond the facade of Casa Pedro Loza lies the beauty and warmth of Old World Charm. Tastefully decorated in the period of 1848, this well appointed Boutique Hotel boasts the beauty and gentility of days gone by! We booked the Secret Garden (Jardin Secreto) with a private jacuzzi. This spacious room was the perfect spot for a little "Valentines Getaway". When we first arrived to our suite, the water seemed chilly for the Jacuzzi, but we were assured once the jets and heat came on we would be more than happy. It heated up quite quickly, and we enjoyed a bottle of wine, and a nice soak before dinner! We had a beautiful meal in the dining room! Our waiter was very attentive, but not intrusive. We both enjoyed the tortilla soup, delicious home made rolls, and the filet mignon. This meal was presented most exquistly, and the flavours were outstanding. This meal will be sure to please even the most discriminating palate!! After dinner, we went up to the rooftop patio, and enjoyed a glass of wine taking in the sights and sounds from the sky! We retired for the night, lit some candles and truly enjoyed the ambiance that this room provided! We toured some of the other rooms in the morning, and they are all just beautiful!! Thank you so much Ariadne, your staff are polite and most helpful! We had a 5 star experience at this gorgeous Hotel, from the moment we started corresponding with Ariadne, to the time of checkout it was a most pleasurable experience! Valet parking is available for $80 pesos, It is offsite, but very accommodating! Thank you for a most memorable getaway! We are already planning on bringing some friends back in April!

Awesome place close to everything in the centro, and fairly close to bars and restaurants. We used Uber as a form of transportation super cheap and safe. The front desk were friendly and attentive. I will stay there again for sure.

The rooms were clean, food was great, and most importantly staff was super friendly. Some staff spoke English and others did not, but most things can be done with hand signals or pointing. Don't let language barrier stop you from coming here and enjoying the town. Would definitely return here!

People at this hotel went above and beyond to make our stay very pleasant. My grandma decided to visit at the last minute and they were able to make accommodations for her during a busy time. The hotel is old but very well kept. Don't expect anything fancy but you'll notice that they put a lot of care and love into making the themed rooms welcoming.

Room Tip: Clean, very well organized, cozy. It got a little noisy at some point because there were a lot of people outside, but it didn't really bother me.

New Year's Eve, we had 5 of the 12 rooms. Greeted by Miquel Angel, who checked us all in. Delicious Azteca and Cream of Mushroom soups for lunch, and made to order guacamole. Since the restaurant would be closed for the evening, we were able to store our own champagne in the bar fridge to take up to the roof top lounge for fireworks at midnight. All the rooms are different. We stayed in a corner room, queen bed--Nido de Suenos......Nest of Dreams. and illuminated canaries (not real) in a bird cage.
They do have KIng Bed--- friends stayed in ------Rosa(not sure about the first word)
Cant wait to go back.
