Casa Fayette could be a good hotel but unfortunately is simply mediocre.
It is a new hotel with relatively expensive rates for Mexico. The location is good: in a residential area close to many restaurants and bars.
The rooms are ample but not comfortable (although beds are good).
The hotel promised a gym… but it is located 10 minutes’ drive, so you need to organize a taxi!! I found this quite misleading.
The staff is really not at the level of a high quality hotel. The restaurant service is poor and the breakfast buffet really poor.
I asked well in advance of my arrival for a transfer from the airport, this was confirmed, but nobody was at the arrivals hall… I took a taxi and not even an apology… a shame because I was really expecting something much better.

The restaurant is amazing, we never ever eat at hotel restaurants. Two nights in a row and it would have been a third if it was not for the fact it was our friends first visit to GDL.

Don't miss the Mac and cheese. My suggestion is order family style. Meet the chef he will help with suggestions.
Do not miss the Cesar salad unless you are not a regular traveler and have not heard of grilling the romaine lettuce. It was superb.

Short ribs with mash potatoes OMG

The grilled chicken to dye for.

We want to return for cooking classes.

With Chef Trevor.

10 stars restaurant for the food.

Splurged a bit on a one night stay here while passing through Guadalajara. The property is brand new and fun to explore. The pool/terraces are gorgeous. The room itself is nice if not very functional. The design of the hotel impeded some more functional elements, such as easy to access plugs and a bathroom that wasn't an echo chamber. Breakfast is best avoided.

Fine dinning options, creative drinks. Excellent architectural design.

As always, the rooftop is breathtaking with a nice pool and a bar that also offers food.

Amicable service, good idea for late dinners.

They have live music during weekends
