Look no further ... this is the perfect place to stay in Guanajuato. I came 4 nights before the start of a 4 week Spanish immersion and came back 2 nights before heading back home. Staff is friendly and are very helpful to make your stay perfect. The breakfast are delicious and with lots of variety. Rooms and common area are kept very clean. The view on the terrasse is what Guanajuato has the best to offer. They help you bring your luggage up and down as there are a few stairs case. The location is also perfect. A 2 minutes walk and you are in the heart of the historic center. The callejon is well illuminated. I am
leaving very early tomorrow and
they prepared me a little lunch to bring on the plane. That is what I call attention to details. I gave it a 20 on 10. I really can’t think of anything that I did not like. Beds are confortable. A little Oasis after a day discoverinf beautiful Guanajuato but do discover this hidden gem.

Casa de Pita is a quirky little B&B with 9 rooms located on a typical alleyway close to all of the museums and the main square of historical Guanajuato. It’s very easy to get to, just around the corner and up the hill from the Theater Principal. We stayed in the “Los Arcos” room which is great for tall people since you don’t have to duck through low doors or maneuver spiral staircases to get to it. It has its own separate entrance, but the charming common areas of the hotel are available to use from 9am-9pm. The room itself was large enough for a very comfortable king size bed and a table for 2. The large beautifully tiled shower had plenty of hot water. The advantage to this room is that it’s easy to access and you don’t have to get your luggage up any staircases. The disadvantage is that it’s at street level and on a corner, so you need ear plugs and a sound machine to sleep at night.
The terraces at Casa de Pita are available for all of the guests to use. The views are absolutely amazing. When we arrived, we were offered coffee and cookies on the terrace and that set the tone for the rest of our visit. Pita and her staff were very accommodating and made sure that we had everything we needed. The breakfast is served at 9 around a community table or on the terrace. It consists of fruit, juice, coffee or tea, and a main dish which was a typical mexican breakfast dish and delicious.
We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Casa de Pita was one of the very best if not the best place we have ever stayed in. The staff was over and above the best possible. The room we stayed in was right on a terrace where we were served breakfast every morning. The upper terrace had spectacular views of the city! Decorations were beautiful and the location was excellent! AND the value was wonderful. We are definitely planning to come back and meet our son and daughter in law there in the near future.

Stayed 4 nights. They arranged airport pickup for us - totally convenient.

Superb location - seconds from the Jardin. Most guests were not Americans - we shared our breakfasts with folks from France, Italy, and, of course, Mexico,

The climb up to the terrace is an adventure, but what a view! WiFi in our little room was adequate, as was the (minimal) shower pressure, but who cares when you are staying at such a lovely, well-run, quiet B&B.

Absolutely recommended. At $35/night it's almost a miracle.

Cada de Pita is a well run B&B. Staff is friendly and very helpful, they carried our baggage up the many stairs and down to our car when we left.

We had the double room on the top floor. It was beautiful and large, lots of windows for fresh air. To get to it you needed to go up a spiral staircase, so you need to be mobile.

Coffee and fruit at breakfast was great, the main plate was simple Mexican food.

I highly recommend this B&B.
