We enjoyed our brief stay at Casa de Pita. It's a unique little B&B with 9 rooms located on a steep uphill alleyway close to the main square. The rooms can be hazardous due to the low door clearance, the top room requires clearing low doors and maneuvering skinny spiral staircases to get to it. The room was tight, if charming in its decor. The big down side was the trickling water pressure in the shower. It took forever to get warm and was uncomfortable with so little water available. I imagine water pressure is an issue all over town. All toilet paper goes into the garbage can here.
For the close proximity to the center, it's fairly quiet at night, even on a weekend. Bedding was fine, not luxurious in any way.
The terraces at Casa de Pita are a nice place to have a quiet drink or star gaze a night. The views are stunning. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast is served at 9 around a communal table or on the terrace. It consists of fruit, juice, coffee or tea, and a main dish like a burrito. We really liked the location of the inn, very convenient yet still peaceful.More
