My husband and I stayed at the Hampton Inn, Centro Historico in Mexico City for a week. If you stay at this hotel you do not need any more advice than asking Edgar or Martin. They will tell you what to do, where to go, they will arrange for your tours, restaurants, anything you need. No tourist books necessary, they know it all. It is a beautiful hotel a couple of blocks from the old town. The only negative thing I have to say is that if you want a smoking room keep your piece of paper with the reservation as when we got there they said we did not book a smoking room, luckily we had the piece of paper where it said we did reserve a smoking room. Also we asked for a wake up call and that did not happen. Edgar and Martin will arrange for you to have a great time.

Room Tip: Our room was very quiet

Overall very good and will go back. No gluten free options at breakfast and the air conditioner with some noises. It is in the Center of the city and it was great for walking around at any time. Staff was very friendly.

We were a bit hesitant to stay here as is in the centro historico and were expecting an old and noisy room. We were pleasantly surprised to find a charming hotel with amazing staff. It is only a few blocks away from El Zocalo and metro stations, walking distance from Bellas Artes and a lot of great places to eat.
The rooms were small but quiet, clean and renovated bathrooms. They serve the traditional breakfast buffet but always add one item that made it more traditional like enchiladas, chilaquiles or tropical fruits. The two adjacent restaurants are also a safe and convenient option or you can also walk a few steps and get some pan dulce from one of the most famous bakeries in the country. Would definitely stay here again...

I have stayed here a couple of times. Not super impressed with the rooms - they are average at best. But the location is smack in the middle of the historic district, and less than 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral and some restaurants. Good breakfast included in price and nice decor overall. Room could use some refurbishing. Carpet was dirty and it can get loud so get room on higher floor.
