We were here for a week while visiting the city and we were really impressed. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. On our arrival, they had chocolates on a plate waiting for us. How did they know I was a chocolate addict? The rooms were very comfortable and the hotel is centrally located. The price was good and the rooms were great.

As good as all that was, the real treasure was the staff. Cynthia, Enrique, Jaime and Manuel were outstanding. From helping me clean up a drink I spilled in my room to making excellent dining recommendations, these folks were always there to help. I would go back with no reservation. Actually, I would first make a reservation then go back.

We had an amazing evening in the bar, Monse gave us great ideas to select drinks and her service was outstanding! I highly recommend the place, prices are afordable, the weather in may is awesome and the light on the buildings makes a beautiful scene at night.

The location and the look of this hotel could not be faulted.

Friendly and helpful staff (except when asked for an invoice for my stay), affordable buffet breakfast and plenty of bottled water to take to your room.

Not suitable for people who have difficulty climbing stairs as there are lots of them and they are quite steep. There is a lift but can be a long wait.

Room was beautiful but too hot. Air conditioning was on the lowest and you couldn't open the window. As a result I only got 3 hours of sleep.

If you are someone like me who needs a cool room to sleep then it is not the hotel for you. It is an older hotel so the air conditioning is older. If you can handle a warmish room then I definitely recommend it as I would stay here again if their air conditioning improved.
