Comfortable

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Mar 31, 2019
Visited Mexico City on a Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe. The hotel we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The stay included breakfast, which was varied and filling. The staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating. It was convenient to "food stops" for additional requirements, like bottled water (the hotel provides them, but one gets thirsty fast in the warm weather.)

Stayed at this hotel since it was the site of a meeting I attended, the location is good, near Reforma Avenue more towards the Historic Center. Restaurants nearby,
The hotel is dated but clean, the beds are comfortable, linens are good, the bathroom is ample. Water pressure is not always great (we were on floor 10 ) We ate at the hotel's restaurant every day during the event and food was just ok. Staff is kind and always willing to help.

We were located at this hotel for 7 nights. Its a lovely friendly place. Choice of food good. Close to shopping centre and weekend market. Short distance to town centre where a lot of history can be found.

The staff are very friendly and the rooms are comfortable. The hotel is in a very nice location walking distance to the angel and to the revolution. The hotel has a pool on the roof, several bars and the restaurant sells good food at a reasonable price.

Unsure why there are negative reviews on here. Spend 3 nights here in a room that has clearly been refurnished - excellent shower and bed, spacious and air con. Check in very quick and easy. Location is excellent - 10 min walk to nearest metro and 15min walk to Palacio Belles Artes. Easy 10mins taxi to La Condesa. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. SMall pool rooftop - great to relax ad cool down and a day sightseeing. Lobby looks beautiful.

The price we paid was about half what you would pay for similar local hotels so this is great value.

Staff were friendly, check in was easy and there was free parking. Location was good and walking distance to restaurants and bars. We had two bed in the room (family of four), one was comfy but the other one had a plastic sheet under the sheet which made it uncomfortable. Only two towels were provided so we had to ask for more. Hotel was advertised with a gym but you have to get a free pass from reception and go out the hotel to a gym around the corner which we found a little inconvenient. The pool on the roof was very cold as water was not heated but did have a nice bar on the roof terrace.
Breakfast was included but there was not much choice and there was one chef cooking everything to order, eggs, pancakes, waffles, tortillas. So it was very slow, he looked over worked and could only do one order at a time. They eggs were very greasy as he used too much oil. The could of offered scrambled eggs and bacon pre cooked and kept warm, this would of helped take the pressure off him I think.
