Honestly, this hotel is the best run hotel, I have visited in a while. Could not put a finger on anything. Everything tip top, right from the greeting,, when we arrived, to the good buy after 3 nights. Clean nice comfortable rooms and greet service all around. We did upgrade to a great corner room with beautiful virw of park, yes, even from the huge shower, allwindows on one site. We ate breakfast at the executive floor, and the happy hour there was enough food for dinner, plus it lasted u til 10 pm, a great plus. The area was very safe and had a,axing restaurant. We will be back soon.

We work in Mexico and wanted to try this hotel as Platinum Elite members at Marriott. We were somewhat disappointed with the hotel itself as the rooms are in need of an update. Having said that the staff make up for the inadequacies including the gracious manager, Senor Romero, who provided us with a great stay. He was a very refreshing manager as we actually met him in the motor court helping guests with their luggage. Bravo to his hands on approach making for a well run facility. Breakfasts at Xanat are exceptional as is our favorite server Miranda...definitely a highlight of the trip. Liliana at the reception was professional and helped with our requests. The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable. I would be remiss if I did not mention what a fun area of Mexico City the hotel is located in...lots of nice restaurants and boutiques within walking distance.

Room tip: Some rooms are quieter than others as there is a convention/events center on one side of the hotel.

The opulence of this hotel is striking from the minute you pull into the driveway. We were greeted by the door man dressed in a tailvoat and tophat. The hotel has a huge Lobby adorned by impressive artwork. Check in is not very quick but extremely thorough so be prepared to wait about 20 minutes before the process is complete. The concierge desk is staffed 24 hours and extremely helpful. We had booked a junior suite which was huge and furnished very Tastefully. The executive lounge access is the best perk with terrific views of the city from the floor to ceiling windows. Their breakfast and happy hour fare was top notch and the lounge server David was attentive to our every need. The hotel is in the heart of Polanco and within walking distance of everything. We even booked the city tour and Airport taxi from the hotel concierge desk and found it to be cheaper than other leading tour companies. Dining at Lipps was okay. The room service menu is actually better and quite affordable. The hotel even offered a candy snack cart in the afternoon in the lobby for all guests. Lobby elevator flowers were changed daily, which was a very surprising but nice touch. Our trip to Mexico City was made memorable by our experience at the JW Marriott.
