A really lovely bakery with amazing pastries and good coffee. I ordered an almond croissant which was delicious! Nice to sit outside on the high tops and people watch.

Cute bakery/pastry shop right off Obregon in La Roma. A good selection of French-style breakfast breads and pastries as well as cakes. They also serve coffee. Reasonable prices.

Not a lot of seating, but the tables outside are nice and a decent spot to sit and read for a bit while you eat.

We have always looked forward to eating here and the delicious eggs benedict and baby roasted potatoes with fresh rosemary were a delight, preceded by a buttery almond croissant and delicious coffee.
This time we waited for an inordinately long time and had to go in and ask what happened to our order and it was obvious it had been forgotten. This restaurant has three tables and stools for a total of 7 seats. Come on. How do you forget a client? The orange juice that comes with the eggs/coffee package didn't arrive until after the coffee only when we pointed out its absence. When the egg dishes finally arrived we still had not been set up with cutlery or napkins. After being told that the server would get cutlery and with our egg dishes sitting cooling in front of us for several minutes we went inside again and asked what we needed to do to get cutlery before our eggs were cold and inedible and were told that they were washing them. Come on again. Obviously the owner of this lovely little place with usually excellent food and service has dropped the ball. Someone needs to supervise/manage/train the young workers better.
We were given the excuse that there was a new chef. Come on.
The chef didn't forget our order. The chef didn't forget to set up our table. The chef didn't not do the dishwashing. But the chef did forget the fresh rosemary on the potatoes.
For our last two days in the neighborhood we forgot to come here for breakfast. Too bad.

give this cute shop a stop to grab a croissant or the likes at a good value. There is not much seating and I wouldn't stay long, but it is nice for a bite. I you want a place to rest or sit along with a coffee, check out the "casa de cafe cardinal" right down the street.
