Que Bo! is one of the newer trendy chocolate shops in Mexico City. We went to the location across from the Casino Español in the Centro. It mainly serves as a chocolate take out spot but has a few tables for drinking hot chocolate on site.

Superb, quality chocolate. Great flavor profiles - cardamom was unique and most tasty. Their shop inside the shops at downtown is beautifully laid out and the ladies working here are so friendly.

We went to Mercado Roma for lunch and stopped by the tiny Que Bo counter to be dazzled. You have no idea the amount of deliciousness contained in the small case. The beautifully decorated truffles just begged to be taken home. But on top of the case were these rather unassuming chocolate bars. One said, "mango chili".

The rich dark chocolate, the tart mango, the residual chili burn. This is pure heaven.

Often on IG, you will see many beautiful things. I discovered Jose's chocolate years ago, and have been wondering how it would taste for equally as long.
The chocolate is a work of art with an exotic delicious taste, and I was so glad to finally try it for myself in the beautiful Polanco. I learned that some local hotels also carry this chocolate (Four Seasons CDMX).
The staff also speaks English which was a welcome surprise.

I visited the Que Bo location in Centro area which is located in a quaint plaza that also houses boutique shops & famous restaurants. Que bo is on the second level (called first floor in MX) with nice views of a garden restaurant below. The Aztec style mexican hot chocolate is served in traditional cups (must must try). Also the chocolate dipped figs are great. They offer an amazing array of small bite sized chocolates - honey lavender is my favorite! Try this next time you are in Zocalo/Centro area.
