Mikasa is a longtime Mexico City favorite with great lunch options (premade sushi rolls and bento boxes) as well as a weekend grill with fresh veggie and seafood options. The recent addition of a ramen-focused restaurant on the second floor is very welcome.

We use to visit this place to get our Japanese cooking items, like a Tamago (Squared) Pan, Chopstix, Bamboo Mats, Towel boats, Bamboo Steam baskets, and all the necessary ingredients to make very good Japanese Food @ home.

Now they have a restaurant, not to big, not to small, but it´s a good choice for Japanese Food lovers in town, for a cheaper price than normal on this type of places.

Whenever I have to hand deliver my envelopes for shipping to the courier aside this place; i do have to go in and enjoy at least some Sushi, if in a hurry....

Great place to eat when you want a break from Mexican fare. The market carries tons of fresh and packaged Japanese products and it's definitely worth a browse before or after you eat. I enjoyed my ramen - it was a huge portion and came with a hardboiled egg, nice big piece of pork, onions, ginger, seaweed and noodles. Ramen bowls are 75 pesos by themselves or you can order combos.

this place originally is a supermarket of japanese products, but in weekends they offer a japanese grill.
Love the food had this special japanese taste, if you want to try some traditional of this culture you have to visit it.
They have a very lovely service, but go early because everything end very fast.

I love this place, the weekend buffet is really tasty! They offer a variety of options such as grilled salmon, onigiris with cheese, salmon or natural, Stuffed Portobello mushrooms, sticks with teriyaki chicken or beef and calpis. The place is small so get there before 2PM if you want to find a table as there are probably just around 20.
Inside the actual store they also sell sushi, desserts (I like the Tapioca and cream one) and beers so you can buy them and eat/drink them outside. Everything is lovely and tasty!
It's a different experience to eat here if you are visiting but it's a perfect example of the variety of foods and cultures that are also a big part of this city.
