My family LOVED TRTH, it was the last leg of our vacation and the 2 nights we spent there rejuvenated us completely. My kids were ready to be home on day 4 and arriving at the RTH was the next best thing. We all fell in love with Avril, she is the best vacation dog! We will definitely be back to our home in Mexico City. For those of your afraid of the city- we felt so safe we slept with our room door open to the court yard for most of the night to enjoy the sound of the evening rain. Don’t think about it- you must experience The Red Tree House to understand how lovely it really is.

We stayed at Red Tree for a week. Wonderful hosts and staff, friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was beautiful as is the entire house. My partner came down with a bad cold and Craig and Jorge nursed him the one day I had to go out, checking up on him and inviting him to lunch at their private residence. We noticed a number of guests were return visitors to Red Tree and we certainly will be coming back there. It's a fantastic place.

The Red Tree House is leading the way in B&Bs for a reason. They have it all down to a fine art - it’s like staying with old friends. The staff are so gracious, warm and welcoming and go out of their way to make sure all your needs are taken care of. They happily take care of arrangements for you and even drove us out to the airport when we left. There appears to be an instant bond between visitors to the Red Tree House, in fact we have met and made some lovely friends whilst staying there. The breakfast spread is divine and the drinks in the courtyard of an evening top off the day. The area around Red Tree House is quite magical as well with an abundance of art deco architecture and lots of treed parks and excellent restaurants to explore. The rooms are comfortable and there is plenty of tasteful local art to enjoy throughout the house. Make sure you book well in advance because you don't want to miss out on staying here!

Room Tip: We stayed in the main house with a room overlooking the courtyard. It was very comfortable and quiet (they have a low noise rule from 10pm).

My friend and I stayed there for 6 days in May 2011. The staff were very friendly (also gay friendly) and responsive. We never interacted with the owners directly but Victor and Ernesto were really warm and gracious hosts. It's owned by a American and his Mexican partner.
The place has a lot of plants and a beautiful old tree. We asked for a garden room which allowed us to be very close the courtyard. Breakfast always had a local speciality which was a cool addition!
The area is like SOHO in NYC-artisty and relaxed with art galleries, restaurants and a lot of trees. In fact our best food was from a street eatery near this B&B.
I would highly recommend the Red Tree House!

The team at Red Tree House really made our holiday in Mexico. In fact it is experiences like this, that just make you want to keep travelling the world.

From the moment we walked in the door we instantly were made to feel at home and very welcome. Craig & Jorge have created a fantastic, colourful, stylish & contemporary haven that invites you to relax.

And the staff at Red Tree House - well they are truy exceptional. The breakfasts were delicious & generous in size... and any unusual requests were always quickly and happily accommodated. Ernesto kindly arranged an excellent driver to take us to a variety of ‘must-see’ Freda & Diego museums located on the cusp of the city – well worth it.
The RTH team are attentive, friendly, fun, professional - simply wonderful people.

Our guestroom was spacious, clean and well appointed – we loved the ability to open up the double doors onto the balcony, especially on the warmer evenings. We slept so well – very comfy bed. The free internet in the lounge was very handy.

We spent much of our time chatting or laughing with other house guests in the leafy courtyard and around the large dining room tables. The atmosphere created at the RTH and the fabulous people this B&B seems to attract, really made this a special travel experience.

Be sure to walk the esplanades and tree lined pedestrian medians that surround RTH, discover the great café’s & awesome restaurants, hip design stores and architecture of Condesa and Roma. It’s even fun watching the locals walk their huge variety of dogs and congregate at the water fountain. RTH is well located - easy to get into the city centre by bus or train.

Having worked in Sales & Marketing for 4 & 5-star hotel companies for over 15 years...I can honestly say these guys know the meaning of genuine hospitality and I would highly recommend them to anyone travelling to Mexico.
