Visited this place a couple times. It’s a relaxing rooftop place. The food is amazing and the cocktails are delicious!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A great rooftop to relax on after touring the cultural museum. We were going to go to another place, but it was full so we ended up here, and we were glad we did.

Nice views mixed with wine, tabla de queso, and a molten cake afterwards was a great end to our vacation. Not rushed, the service was great.

• Tabla de Queso (featuring Oaxacan cheese, guacamole, and chapulines)
• Glass of V Casa Madero rosada
Glass of 2V Casa Madero blanco
•Three bottles of water
• Molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream
• Salsa and Hummus ( on the house)
$630 MXN

Mezquite was recommended to us for the view of the city and the food. While we enjoyed the food (it's seemingly impossible to get a bad meal in Oaxaca), the view from the rooftop is one of the best around.

As a welcome, we were presented with a tiny cup of soup, topped with cheese and veggies, which was tasty. We followed with a bowl of chicken soup filled with rice, green beans, avocado slices and chopped tomatoes. It was good, but we've had much better. The other entré was a flavorful beef dish served on a blue corn tortilla and sprinkled with amaranth seeds.

We wanted to return for a second try, but ran out of time.

Like 99% of all food experiences in Mexico - you must be willing to take your time. Nothing happens quickly and since we were on vacation with time to just relax and enjoy being together - we were able to enjoy the slow pace.

We went for a late lunch and were one of two tables being served on the terrace. The view was exceptional, the drinks were right on and the food was delicious. The chef sent us a small sample of the corn soup, then we enjoyed a grilled pineapple and chicken salad, pork and cheese tacos and chorizo quesadillas. Everything was made and served fresh and hot and there was so much food, we were unable to finish it all.

Staff were friendly, but service was very slow. Since we had no plans for the rest of the day, the slow service was ok.

Definitely a great place for good food, atmosphere and relaxation.

Loved IT! I would try everything on the menu. Cocktail menu is brilliant. The art/decor throughout is amazing! Staff and quality of food were awesome.
