Great location on the lagoon waterfront in the hotel zone with average Italian food at slightly inflated prices.

Enjoyed the ambience here. Pleasant seating and decor on a deck overlooking the lagoon. Nice service. Decent food. Don't go here expecting a tip top meal, but it is good and the view is very fine.

Went here for dinner on a Friday night in January. Service was outstanding and attentive. Didn't expect to have such good veal dishes and Italian seafood fare in Mexico, but they surprised me. The owner even went around the tables and introduced himself ( he's actually from So. California) Their wine list is reasonably prices, and their location on the lagoon is very nice.

Tim Savio's fairly new addition to the loads of mediocre Hotel
Zone restaurants make the Bistro an enjoyable place to have a very nice dinner at reasonable prices. Dinner with cocktail, 1/2 bottle wine, app, entree and gelato came to $35 per person. Very fresh octopus salad starter, very well made vegetable soup, snapper veracruzana, chicken breast, and cappelini with fresh tomato/basil sauce were among the selections that we chose. Very good and personable service made the evening quite enjoyable.

We enjoyed our stroll across the street to Savio's. Nice thing about here is you can get such a variety of food (including pizza) and they have "appetizer/lunch" portions available. Bananas flambe to finish off the meal.
