When we came to Hotel Margaritas, we were welcomed by complimentary 24-hour security and so-so parking. It is 2 blocks from a great market, Mercado 23, which was amazing. The workers were friendly, and the pool was great, with lights, palm trees, a bar in the pool that we swam up to, and a nice restaurant. However, there were no washcloths there, but that seemed to be throughout mexico, and I warn you, the water tastes TERRIBLE. I couldn't drink it. But overall, it was a nice stay there, and we recommend it.

Rooms are super clean, spacious
For the money is worth it, it shares the facilities of Adhara Hotel, this is the
Small version, you pay a small fee to use the pool wich they reimburse you as
Credit for meals and drinks. Free WiFi

Location is not the best it's in a part of town that feels like empty, but taxis and uber
Are always at hand and accessories to malls and beach is just 5 min drive.
Great fresh coffee and you get a 10% off if you pay for breakfast in advance.

Over all good value for a weekend stay

i was more than pleased with my families stay. we stayed for 2 weeks and everything well perfect.

Marco, the night security guard was amazing and helped us so much. he was a real treat to meet.

Lourdes, the housekeeper was on the ball and kept our room spotless. she was really nice as well.

the front desk was so helpful and resolved any issues within literally 3-4 minutes ( air conditioner turned off by itself)

the staff at the restaurant were so nice and were always joking with my son.

i would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was a good place for a 1 night stay before flying home. Traveled with my boyfriend, we gad a nice evening at the pool even though we had to pay $50 pesos each. A little noisy, we could hear everything happening in the hallway. We were very tired that we quickly went to sleep. AC was nice and cold, beds were ok, bathroom was decent and security was great!

Let's start with the positives
The hotel location is great.. Its central but not on any of the main streets so you dont have to deal with the hustle and bustle of downtown Cancun..that is as good it gets.

The rooms are spartan, walls must be razor thin because you can hear persons conversing in the hallway and in the rooms next door.
They charge you something like $3 to use the pool next door which ironically is their sister property WOW!
They say the wi-fi is free but it hardly ever works and is spotty at best.

On the eve of my departure from the hotel to the airport, i decided to doublecheck my airplane departure time but the wi-fi was acting up again so i rushed to the front desk for assistance..i was the only one there but the guy behind the desk just ignored my presence, however when some Europeans arrived and were standing behind me he quickly stopped what he was doing greeted them and asked them how could he be of assistance..mind you i am still standing there.
Not wanting to create a scene in front of the new arrivals i waited until they had checked in and departed the lobby before lamblasting the receptionist guy.
He apologized profusely but then instructs me that i could access the wi-fi of their sister hotel next door but for a small fee.
I immediately left the lobby and found a nearby internet cafe where i without fuss or a hassle, downloaded my flight information, returned to the hotel, retrieved my luggage and let them all know i would be writing several reviews about the treatment meted out to me.
NEVER AGAIN!!
