We were "urged" to go to the Hacienda Antigua by the man on the corner who wasn't about to take "no" for an answer. What the heck, we were hungry. He sat us at an outdoor table and soon a waiter appeared to take our food and drink order. My wife ordered chips and queso with chorizo. It arrived as a blob of cheese and butter minus the chorizo. She also ordered chicken tacos which were good. I ordered fish tacos. They were okay, the guacamole tasted store bought. The pica de gallo was very good. The enjoyable part of the meal was sitting outside, watching shoppers haggle with merchants, and the street musicians who played for you with hat in hand. I tried to pay our bill with a credit card and was told they only take cash. Thankfully I had thrown a few dollars in my wallet and was able to cover the bill plus tip. If the man on the corner directs you to the Hacienda Antigua, you'll kick yourself for not checking TripAdvisor first.
