Near the ferry , good location and friendly staff. Clean great for a short stay
Just needed a room for the night after a day trip to Cozumel

If you are looking for decent, very clean, accommodations on a budget in Cozumel this is a good choice. The owner and staff do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Stayed 2 nights, 3 days. Extremely easy to get to, a few blocks from the ferry and the main plaza. Diving safety in Cozumel is vital with the depths, current, coral and marine life. The in-house dive operation is small but after speaking with a dive instructor we decided to use their services. Dive Master Bernard took great care to ensure our safety and took us on 4 terrific dives. The scuba gear is high quality. The boat is not the quickest but who cares, it's rock solid, safe/comfortable, and you don't loose a minute of time underwater. One guest, who brought their own scuba gear, had a serious equipment malfunction with their BCD; Bernard immediately was there to provide critical assistance and ensured the diver's safety. I would dive with this dive team again in a heartbeat. We found the rates of the scuba with gear to beat most competitors providing you are a guest.

Room tip: AC in our first room was noisy. We asked to move, they accommodated us right away, AC in second room was whisper quiet.

Hotel Agave Azul is the home of Blue Agave Divers and located 1/2 block to the Ocean the multilingual staff makes you feel at home during your stay and the onsite management insures all of your requirements are met and taken care of quickly. We were pleased to find an affordable hotel minutes to shops, markets, restaurants, and local entertainment.. We found the hotel very clean and well maintained with both Airconditioning and fans in the rooms. Several of the rooms are indeed suites with kitchen, refrigerator, hot plate, sink and dishes.. Continental breakfast is served daily with unlimited coffee. WiFi works in all of the rooms unlike most hotels who have only lobby access internet was fast and the TV stations were clear in all of the rooms. NEW hOT WATER HEATERS AND PLUMBING INSURE WE HAD hOT WATER SHOWERS AFTER OUR DIVES AND ANYTIME WE WANTED TO SHOWER OR WASH. Blue Agave divers has an onsite shop with a full compliment of rental equipment, gear storage space and onsite rinse station with drying racks located on ground floor level so you do not have to drag your gear to your room. The entire staff is very friendly and there interrnational guests from around the World all seem to have an interesting story of Travel to share at the lobby bar entrance to the Hotel .If your are looking for very affordable Fun in Cozumel We highly recommend the Hotel and Dive shop. The PADI professional dive Instructors will make sure your dives are the best and most rememorable experience of your trip. It's literally 5 minutes walk from the ferry. Super-convenient location.
The price is very reasonable at least in September.
Service is good, the rooms are big and have air conditioned.
They need to improve on their scuba service. I would shop around for alternatives in terms of scuba, it could also have been the time of the year, their boats were being repaired (at least is what they mentioned).

Room tip: Make sure your AC works and the closer you are to the lobby the better is the wifi connection.

The scuba instructors and Crew from this dive shop were amazing. Pablo , Bernardo, Antonio , Rodolfo excellent !! The experience was top notch and fun. Their knowledge of the reefs unsurpassed and they allowed everyone to be comfortable. Made some great new friends.. Will only seek these guys out for future dives and for training the rest of my family for certification
