I have been diving for over thirty years and this reef is top of my list. Cozumel is my favorite dive destination and this reef is always a must

Awesome sea life. Lots of turtles. Great visibility and a mild current. Did a day and a night dive. 2 very different but equally cool dives.

Palancar is really the most beautifull corals I’ve seen !
It has 4 or 5 different dive spots .... you won’t be disappointed !

Did the reef with Deep Blue Dive shop .... they are the best in town

Enjoy !

We went here as part of a snorkel trip tat went to El Cielo, Columbia Reef and Palancar Reef. There were tons of fish of all different kinds. We didn't see any turtles or sharks on our trip but our guide said that they see them about half the time. The coral formations were spectacular and varied. The reef is fairly deep for snorkelling - 30 to 40 ft - but would made an awesome dive location. We saw divers while snorkelling. Definitely worth going to see.

Great scuba diving here - dove with Aqua World..always good! They are near the pool of almost every hotel so easy to find. Good prices. Better to bring your own gear though.
