This was our second stay at Casa Sirena, as well as our second visit to IM. Steve couldn't be a more gracious host and Casa Sirena couldn't be more welcoming. We treasure everything Sirena has to offer from the breakfasts, to the staff and the happy hrs! Last year we met a group of wonderful people at Casa Sirena and were fortunate enough to book our second stay during the time they would be returning. During our stay we celebrated an engagement and two birthdays, one of which was for my BF! Steve and the other guests (who we consider friends) went above and beyond to make his bday celebration special. Sad to leave but can't wait to return!

The minute we arrived and Steve welcomed us the island and Steve's charm took over. I'm not sure what I can add that others haven't already said, but let me try. The hotel is immaculate. Steve's staff keep it spotless and ready for guests at all times. The breakfasts were brilliant, but I have to say, the best part of Casa Sirena is Steve himself and the other guests who stay there. Steve took time to talk to us about the island and joined us for some walks after hours too during the Carnival festivities. We made some new friends that I hope to meet up with back at Casa Sirena as well as elsewhere, it's just that kind of a place. We had the most relaxing vacation, yet were able to do some activities too (snorkeling, day trip to Tulum) if that's your thing thanks to Jose, who sets up anything you want with ease and a smile. The island is a small little secret I'm so glad to be in on and can't wait to return again and again. Casa Sirena is the perfect spot to enjoy it all - you will NOT be disappointed. :)

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 3 which is a GIANT suite with two rooms and two beds. We only used one bed, but w...

I've always found the best part of a journey is the people you meet along the way... I'm delighted you found new friendships (and the rest of us found you and Dave) around the bar at Casa Sirena.

Casa Sirena is worthy of more than a 5 star rating and certainly deserves to ranked as one
the top B & B's in the world. In our 30 years of travel we have stayed in many wonderful properties. We discovered Isla Mujeres and Casa Sirena just 2 years ago. Our stay over Christmas and New Years was our 7th. We are returning in May as are guests we met during previous stays (Fiesta Grande). Steven has created an outstanding B & B worthy of all the
great reviews on this site. We could go on and on but you need to have the Casa Sirena experience for your self(s).

This was our first trip. We came not knowing exactly what to expect. Everything was wonderful. Our room was lovely, spotless, and comfortable. Breakfasts were marvelous. Staff was so welcoming and helpful. Owner Steve is the consumate host. He gave us lots of helpful information. He also gave us the opportunity to go to a really special private dinner prepared by a French chef. The big surprise was the wonderful happy hours hosted by Steve, on the romantic roof top terrace. Steve even offered Salsa dancing lessons one night! We came with friends but also met other guests who were interesting, fun people to hang out with. This is truly a unique place and experience.

Room Tip: Each room is different. We chose based on the size bed we wanted.

My wife and I had a great 3 night stay. We stayed in room 6 which is on the 3rd floor and had a great little balcony looking out over the ocean. The breakfasts were fabulous and the happy hours were even better. Steve really makes sure his guests have a great stay. It's definitely the best boutique hotel experience I've encountered to date in terms of value, service, and plain old fun. I loved sampling top shelf tequilas while sipping Steve's awesome margaritas. I managed to consume a healthy portion from the beers in the fridge to the tequila at the bar (hey it's vacation right?) and Steve made it clear that the only obligation was to contribute to the bar if you over-indulge. I was happy to drop off a nice bottle on my day of departure.

Room Tip: I preferred ocean side but I doubt there is a bad room. 360 degree view on the roof top deck makes t...

Thanks for the bottle: it was put to good use by the remaining hotel guests, to drown their sorrows at happy hour after you departed ;)

This place is so awesome, you just have to go there and see for yourself. It was our second trip back and we'll go back next year too. The rooms are spotless, the breakfasts are first rate, and the owner, Steve, and his staff are so accommodating. It is also a great place to meet new people, as the B&B atmosphere is so comforting. We love happy hour at Casa Sirena, the margaritas are the bomb!

A wonderful B&B hosted by the delightful Steve. Located at the south, read quiet end, of busy Hidalgo & within reach of all the cafes & shops. Steve with the help of his fantastic staff keep an incredibly clean & lovely establishment. Towels changed daily, water available at all times. The staff take real pride in the place. Coming back each evening to your towels twisted into all manner of shape. animals, a valentine is fun. Steve hosts a fab cocktail hour where you may meet many of the expat locals & get the local gossip. What fun.

Room Tip: All the rooms are great!
