Yes, its close to the beach and the fifth Avenue but this place is really justa storing place for turists. The beds are reaaly hard and theres no pressure in the shower so your hair feels sandy and salty during your whole stay. No one takes there time to ask about you, or your family members breakfast only offers 2 choises with very little food. You can not get yogurt with musli and also toast. We stayed there with 2 young children for one week and when the hated the food choises they couldnt get a piece of toast instead for tortillas or yogurt. When we asked why they could not offer our children some bread with butter instead for nachos we get thos answer from the front desk: no, not possible beacuse if other guests will ser, they will also want bread.... Wtf.???!,No one asked for their names during the whole week we were there. No one even took the time to say hello, unless we said it first. The worse thing was the maid, she left an envelope for us, so we could leave a tip. One the fist day we left a tip of 2 dollars, but the nexy day no animal shaped towels, and no shampoo. what are we tipping for then I thought? The next day, she gave us very old towels. Like she really gave us worse service beacuse we didnt tip her enough?! We are so happy that we have planed to travel around the Yucatan area and did not stay there for our entire vacation! You might think, well, its cheap and it could suit couples or friend but defenitely not families with small children. Too bad we didnt get this information before we got there. They literly see children as an economical sett back.
