super cute boutique hotel! upon arrival staff was super attentive, informative and courteous. we were shown to our room which was clean, with a balcony, walk in shower , stocked mini bar (with water, coke, juices, and chips). White robes, room slippers and a beach bag for your use during your stay.

The hotel features 3 pools, and 3 hot tubs. 2 pools downstairs with a side hot tub and a bigger pool with 2 hot tubs featured on the roof top, which has a bar, lounge chairs and beds.

note: they make the BEST MARGARITAS in ALL Playa!!!! we visited many places and had lots of margaritas but by far the ones made at la Pasion's rooftop bar were the absolute best!

Breakfast: BEST EVER!!! fruit plate, choice of coffee or tea, a glass of natural juice, a choice of a breakfast entree and if you still have room (which we never did ) a sweet pastry to close the deal.

overall we LOVED our stay at La Pasion and not only will we recommend to friends and family but we look forward to our return .

Thank you La Pasion you guys are awesome
Janet and jasmine

We were really surprised at PDC. It is like Vegas by the beach. Super fun and full of things to do, but Vegas. We got to La Pasion and it is a few blocks away from the main drag. Which we found out, once you get away from there is is a really cool town and not so touristy. Not that this is a bad thing; just an observation. Check in was really nice, they let us in before check in time and all the guys are so friendly. The hotel has all of these little areas for hanging out. The room is beautiful. Has a balcony overlooking the pool and garden. It is really quiet. They have a fully stocked fridge with beer, soda and snacks. So nice. The shower is a walk in with great water pressure. Bed is comfy. There's a beach bag in the room for you to borrow. Went to the rooftop pool and hot tub which is really nice. There are two hot tubs on either side of the pool and a bar. The hot tubs are more for people you know or couples. It could be akward for someone else to join you in there as it's not huge and the seating is such that you might feel intrusive. Nothing bad, just saying. The temp was perfect. The hotel is across from a square which was really nice. Breakfast is free the next day. We were late since we were not paying attention, but they were nice enough to give us coffee, pastries and fruit. This is a really nice place in Playa with great, helpful staff.

Room tip: I think all the rooms are nice We had a pool view.

WOW - such an amazing spot, Right in the middle of the action but just a few blocks enough off as not to feel the chaos of 5th avenue. The staff couldn't be nicer and more accommodating ( they all spoke great English ) someone is at the front 24 hours a day!!
Breakfast is included in the room price - not just some shabby Continental either. Full on hot breakfast. They do have croissants out all day for you to nibble on as well!

Our room #108 had a balcony and was in the back of the hotel. It was super quiet and over looked one of the 3 pools. Not sure if this was standard but the minibar was free! Water, soda, chips... amazing. The water pressure in the shower was great as was the air-conditioning.
There is a roof top bar, pool and 2 hot tubs. In my opinion there could have been a bit more shade on the roof but hey we were there to get sun right?
Nothing was missed with the decor - lots of hearts and greenery!
This will be my go to place from now on when in Playa!

Room tip: We compared prices and this hotel was $400 less than the others we looked at - although I wrote budget it wasn't at all!

#1 best thing about this place is the service. Everyone we came across was friendly and accommodating, especially Martin at the front desk. The room was smallish but clean and decorated well. Our view was not great (don't pick the street view because of construction outside). The bathroom also had a bit of a smell when we ran the water, which was not a normal issue for the hotel. We reported the issue and, since the hotel was booked to capacity, they transferred us to a condo across the street which was absolutely amazing, and at no extra cost and with all the same amenities. Wifi is free and they have a filtered water station which came in handy.

The free breakfast was more than we expected. One hot drink, one cold drink, fruit plate, and a main dish (there are plenty of options). Also, tasty chocolate pastries. This turns into a tapas restaurant at night which you can get 10% off with your room number.

The rooftop area was great. Two jacuzzis, a decent sized pool, lots of lounge chairs, and cabanas. The view was great for us as they had a large christmas tree set up across the street. Drinks at the rooftop bar were relatively cheap. Even though the hotel was maxed out, it was never even close to being crowded up there.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Close enough to everything, yet far enough away to be peaceful. ATM right across the street, 5 minute walk to 5th avenue, 7 min walk to the beach. Right next store to a good Venezuelan restaurant if you want to stop in for lunch or dinner.

Overall, a great experience. If I go back to PCD, I will definitely stay here again.

This is a gem. Away from the noise but within easy walking distance of 5th avenue and the beach. The staff is amazing and the service better than anything we have tried before. Breakfast is wonderful - also try the restaurant for dinner, their paella is amazing. The pools and the jacuzzies especially on the rooftop are wonderful. Rooms and bathrooms great too. Would definitely stay here again and again and again - actually really did not want to leave.
