Came here and ate three times during our trip to Tulum. Great when you're looking for something other than Mexican food. The entrees were delicious and sushi was great too. Highly recommend!

We were chocked to see this place is so popular which promotes Japanese Ramen when it is not ramen at all- the broth of the soup is ok, and the accompaniments in the ramen are nice, but the noodles are Italian style Angel Hair Pasta!
Anyone who know Ramen knows that it is an alkaline noodle that is very difficult to make right and here it is an angel hair spaghetti that is also falling apart in the soup whick is not very nice.
Do not call it ramen if it is not a ramen noodle, its very disappointing.

What a treat to find this little Japanese gem in Tulum...as another reviewer mentioned, it’s a welcomed break from our typical taco nights. At Uno, the food is fresh, delicious and very well priced.

To start, we ordered the perfectly salted edamame and the beautifully presented salmon & avocado sushi with a crunch of fried salmon and sesame seeds on top, definitely a satisfying way to begin. For mains, we had the sweet ramen with tempura chicken and fresh veggies...amazing! It was a little too sweet for our liking but the menu stated that it was a sweet dish... so a must try for the person who enjoys salty/sweet ramen. We also shared the udon curry noodles with chicken and vegetables. The chicken was tender, the vegetables were fresh, noodles were good...however, we would probably skip it next time we come back.

Both meals were a generous portion size and equally satisfying. Just some things to note: there isn’t an English menu option so it was tricky to navigate the menu, it would’ve been helpful to have an English translation as most restaurants in Tulum so. Also the seating could use some improvement, we sat out on the sidewalk and the chairs were pretty uncomfortable and the atmosphere is nothing to note. However, the staff was friendly and the food was wonderful and VERY affordable considering the quality. Overall, a good experience and we look forward to coming back to try some more ramen and sushi.

As we arrived to Tulum downtown we craved to something different that tacos , tortia , or guacamole...
We came across this small oriental restaurant, probably 40 sqm with 10 places to sit inside and 2-3 tables on the side walk in front of the restaurant. Inside worked a line of hard working chef and su chefs that made delicious and beautiful dishes.
The only problem was the Woden chairs that were not so comfy and Tania the waitress that wasn’t so focused the other night , but war very polite and nice.
We enjoyed the food very much.

We took 3 maki rolls (8 each) and 2 beers for about 350 MXP.
The restaurant is small but well organized. The makis were not really traditional but really good.
The worst experience was the mosquitos attacks (at least 10 in 15 minutes and 5 killed). The restaurant has finally provided us with anti mosquito lotion but the beginning was not really pleasant.
