The tour of Muyil was fantastic. The guides, Miguel and Alberto were incredibly knowledgeable and articulate about the ecology and cultural history of Sian Ka-an and shared their obvious passion for the place with skill and humor. The tour was well organized, and paced; we were picked up promptly as arranged and there was a generous supply of fresh sandwiches, fruit, cold drinks, etc., for lunch and snacks. The gentle float down the river was wonderful. I only wish we had more time in Tolum. We would certainly have taken another trip with them. I can't recommend them highly enough, and am glad that people like Miguel and Alberto are there to encourage visitors to see the importance of protecting places like Sian Ka-an.

We booked a private tour on Feb 3. The company allowed us to customize it because we were only two people and we didn't find a tour that fit our needs. Alberto was our tour guide and he showed up promptly. In fact our watch was one hour behind so we were actually running a little late but he was very nice about it. Through out the tour he made sure we had everything we needed. He brought snacks, water, and lunch. He was very knowledgable about the Mayan ruins, the fish during snorkeling and the Cenote. I highly recommend this company and would suggest you request Alberto if possible.

I can not say enough good things about Mexico Kan Tours. We booked two tours - Copa and a Birdwatching Tour. In both cases we had excellent, well informed, friendly tour guides with excellent English, all to ourselves. Transportation, meals, site seeing as well as history and science lessons. Top notch. It may seem pricey but it is worth every penny.

We went on a tour to Chichen Itza and Valladolid with a stop at a nice cenote. Our tour guide was great and we appreciated having the transportation and meals included since we didn't want to rent a car on our honeymoon to Tulum. Great trip overall and very nice and knowledgable staff. Thanks, guys!

Did the inland adventure that included Coba, cenote and spider monkey reserve. Alberto was very knowledgeable and we learned so much about Mayan culture including Coba but also how it fits with Tulum and Chichen Itza. Snacks were local and healthy, Alberto helped us and was able to make some accommodations to add further value (stopping at a local store, explaining some customs and helping as needed. great stories and knowledge of the reserve, zip lining etc as well. Covered a lot of territory and well-paced. Really really glad we took this tour.
