We have been to this restaurant several times and have liked it. The team at Roseraie were at their best tonight.
Imaginative cuisine and great service.

We went twice this month and we enoyed both times. We preferred the à la carte than the Thursday menu even though the price of the menu is a good quality /price choice.

We reserve this bucolic restaurant for special occasions like birthdays and wedding anniversaries. But our most recent visit was just because we were hiking around the area. Never disappointed here. Cozy atmosphere, excellent menu suggestions, friendly service. Can't wait 'til our next occasion.

We've been coming here for a few years now and always have been very satisfied with the excellent value for money this restaurant offers (always in the form of menus with wine) and also have enjoyed the friendly yet impeccable service and the wonderful surroundings (the restaurant is situated in a beautiful rather isolated setting, where one can hear frogs croak; in the summer there is a very pleasant terrace). But tonight we were even more delighted to have tasted the exquisite dishes prepared (as we were told) by the owner himself, Sébastien. The menu, as always very reasonably priced, sounded a bit predictable for a restaurant proposing French cuisine: foie-gras, coquilles St Jacques, filet de boeuf, crème brûlée. But, wow!, everything, was so refined, starting with the amuse-bouche. Quality was as usual top but what made this menu really distinguished were the accompanying mousses, nages, sauces. They were perfectly balanced and delicate. This is a place not to be missed! If you are four ask for the table for 4 by the window in the red room!

We had been recommended this restaurant by friends and had looked forward to try it. The restaurant has a very good atmosphere. We went for the menu of the day and decided also to opt for the wine with each course to try some different wines.

It might have been a bad day with less staff than foreseen, as the 3 waiters were literally running around and did as much as they could on a full house Saturday evening.
We were served the first cod starter without any information what was in it. We waited about 10 minutes for the wine to be served, but it did not come, so we had to ask twice to get some and the waitress seemed to have forgotten that we had opted for the wine to be included. We were then served the white wine but without telling us which wine it was.

The second and hot starter came and it was simply delicious. I asked what was in this starter and the waitress said that she did not know! We waited again a little bit for the wine to be served, but it did not happen, so we just started eating. When we were almost finished they came and topped up with the same wine as for the first and cold starter and this time we were poured a very big glass. We had expected that a different type of wine would have been served more suitable for this warm and a bit spicy dish.

The main course was also very nice, though my husband would have preferred the steak to have cooked a bit more. But we were not asked about how we preferred the steak cooked which we had expected of a restaurant of this level. There were no steak knives which would have been useful as the meat was a little chewy and difficult to cut. Again we waited for the redwine to be served and had to ask for it. I had to ask that I also wanted some redwine despite I had not yet finished the white wine. They gave us 2 different redwine glasses which seemed a bit weird. My husband asked what type the redwine was and the bottle was quickly shown but no explanation about the wine.

The dessert was a little disappointing a chocolate tarte with 1 berry and a tiny bit of cream and tiny bit of coulis. A bit more fruit would have increased the presentation and flavour. We were not served any drinks with the dessert and we gave up as we had no idea what really was included in the "wine forfaits". We opted to go home and have the coffee at home with avec,.,,, so we left rather disappointed as we have always had better service in restaurants with Michelin star
