We had eaten at Chez Marion on previous trips, and chose the hotel for a 2-night break between our flight to Paris and our ultimate destination, the Cotentin peninsula. The restaurant was as we remembered - expertly-prepared local products on the Menu du Terroir, and the widest selection of Calvados anywhere - and the hotel itself was lovely.

In addition to napping, we enjoyed walking on the beautiful sandy beach, hiking the trail along the Orne estuary, and visiting Cabourg.

We stayed for one night here arriving on spec after a long drive. The welcome was warm, and the room fine and good value (and the shower was good!). We enjoyed our meal a lot but felt it was somewhat overpriced. The wine list was a good one but there was almost nothing on it at a sensible price! We didn't see much of the vgillage as it was a foggy November day but the beach looks fantastic!

This small family-run hotel is located in a small village and close to the beach. In contrast with the surrounding villages, it is not too crowed. The hotel is simple but clean and the rooms have all necessary comfort. Service is excellent with a type of familiarity that makes you feel at home. The food is just excellent and you really get good value for money. Just try the normal menus. They also serve a good breakfast. The only minor remark is the unstability of the watertemperature of the shower. Otherwise, ... very nice place!

We stayed here overnight before catching our ferry from Ouisterham the next morning. We had a bit of time on the beach which is great and had a wonderful meal in the restaurant, which despite it being a Saturday night welcomed our small children very well. We had a family room, the childrens' beds were in a small alcove which was great. The only downside was that we had to leave so early in the morning we could not get breakfast and we had to let ourselves out through the back door. It is about 20mins from the port when there is no traffic but it's the closest place we could get a nice hotel with a family room.
