I've probably been on a dozen whale watching tours. This is absolutely the best one in Canada! We saw a pod of 8 pilot whales within feet and the captain moved so everyone could see. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. A once in a lifetime experience!

We got there for their last trip to see the whales; the captain was very accommodating and informative to my twins. He went above and beyond to make sure my kids got to see the whales and had lots of fun facts to share with them. If you are at the Cabot trails then Guaranteed Whales is a definite must do on your list. Great visit!

The crew is absolutely amazing. There were two tour guides and captain on board. All very friendly and knowledgeable, their boat has an upper deck which makes it easy to see the whales. Highly recommend it!

We only tried to book the evening before and the communication from the company was excellent. We booked for the 11.30 on Sunday 12th Aug and I was absolutely delighted with the trip. The lady who owns the company was friendly and helpful, and the two guides on our boat, (Jimmy and Jacob, I think apologies if I mis remembered?) were really informative, attentive and friendly. I couldn't believe how lucky we were to see 5 or 6 pods of pilot whales and how closely we got to observe them. Fortunately for us as the whales weren't too far out we got to spend most of the 2 hr trip with them. Initially they were feeding so we saw lots of swimming and diving which was pretty magnificent, especially when you went upstairs in the boat and could see just how big the whales are from this vantage point, but as we stayed with them for such a good length of time we saw other behaviours too, tail slapping from a young whale, rolls, spy hopping, it was simply a treat to have been part of this trip. Thank you so much I will treasure the memories.

NOTE: they do not give refunds, only gift certificates if you don't see whales - We did NOT see any.
We went on this trip as the one we booked in Cheticamp, messed up our reservation and recommended this one, drove 40 mins out of our way to get there.
Advertised as 90 minutes to 2 hours, our trip on July 30 was 1 hour and 15 minutes, we saw a few seals at a distance. The captain did not engage in any talk at all, at the end of the 1 hour and 15 minutes took us back, laughed and said "no whales today" got in his truck and drove away, not one thank you! There was one other family with us, also from Ontario - they were angry also. Very unprofessional and low point of our trip. I do NOT recommend
