Stopped for a quick lunch on our travels and had a truly delicious Veg Meal! Delicious food and great service. Very tourist friendly and keen to help. We are Australians on holiday in India eating heaps of local food and highly recommend Green Kitchen and it's excellent staff.

It's been 3 months since our honeymoon in Bali & we are still reminiscing about our experience at Green Kitchen. My wife loves to cook and I love to eat her cooking, but this experience inspired me to get in the kitchen myself. We were accommodated for the cooking class very last minute, morning of and it was truly the highlight of our trip. Our host was very hospitable, answered all of our questions and educated us not only about Balinese food, but culture as well. The vegetarian food was incredible and if we make it back to Bali, we'd do it all over again!

First we visited the market in Klungkung and got an introduction in various roots, spices and fruits, then we went to the open air kitchen located in a forest with a fantastic view over rice fíelds. The course was very authentc, as we cooked on wood fire and used traditional ktichen gear (I really liked the selfmade bamboo barbecue tongs). We had an excellent meal and our absolute favourite dish was the black rice pudding! Another highlight was cutting a cocoa fruit from a tree right in the forest just beside the kitchen. We tasted the sweet pulp and also some roasted seeds.

Wonderful experience- visited the huge market in Klungkung barely touched by tourism, before heading to their beautiful family home with an amazing outdoor kitchen. 9+ recipes made, all with new techniques and flavours. Pick up and drop off from our villa. Couldn't recommend more.

We did the vegetarian cooking course with three people and we had a great time! We had a lot of fun exploring the market and the rice fields. The food was delicious and we learned a lot about balinese food. Not did we only learn about food but also our teacher Wayan told us a lot about the balinese culture and life in general.
