My husband and adult handicapped daughter spent a week at the Marina Fiesta (our time-share home resort) and left knowing that we probably will not go back there again. The hotel still looks beautiful, the location is great, the landscape maintenance is outstanding, our rooms were very spacious, and everybody is friendly. However, the housekeeping service was incredibly slow, the kitchen had a microwave and several applicances such as blender, toaster, etc., but the only electrical outlet was behind the microwave. Not all appliances actually worked. The down in the quilts was all balled up because they had not been properly cleaned, the screen door to the patio was non-functioning, there was deferred maintenance everywhere one looked, the pools front and back were ice-cold, the spas were more often cold than hot, there was no food or drink service at all for the back pool, and at 5:30 in the morning the staff would start their cleaning by banging around the hallways, hitting doors and walls, etc.
It all felt like the Wizard of Oz: it was supposed to look wonderful and awesome, but behind the curtain nobody really knew how this thing is supposed to be run.
As a timeshare owner we pay hundreds of dollars for maintenance fee every year, a staggering amount when multiplied by 52 weeks and as many rooms as there are, but it sure does not seem to be going into maintenance or staff training.

Wonderful place. Great location and beautiful balcony overlooking the marina. The room was huge and the service was excellent.

This resort is in a fantastic location! It is right on the marina and is within walking distance to everything, including Cabo Wabo Cantina, The Giggling Marlin, and The Office. We had a 1-bedroom unit and were pleasantly surprised with how large it was! One room had 2 queen sized beds and a full bathroom and the other room had another full bathroom, full sized kitchen, dining room and living room. We had 2 balconies - 1 overlooking the marina and the other overlooking the pool area. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed! The pool area is smaller than other resorts I have been to, however, we very much enjoyed it! The pool staff is very attentive (Carlos rocks!) and with a more intimate area, we got to know other people vacationing there. The 7th floor workout room is great! Even if you don't exercise, you must check it out for the views of the ocean and marina alone! The resort has locked entrances so we felt very safe and secure.

I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Cabo!

When we arrived we were informed the main pool was being renovated and our room was supposed to over look the pool and Marina. We were booked into 2 adjoining rooms overlooking the smaller pool on the first floor and added breakfast for each of us (3) for each day we stayed. The hotel staff went out of their way to accomodate us because of the inconvience. The staff was fantastic, the breakfasts, delicious and the guests we encountered were friendly and fun. I think we will be remembered for a long time to come due to our antics and very personal encounters with the locals.

We stayed for two weeks at the Marina Fiesta Resort and Spa. We found the rooms VERY clean! Staff was very hospitable and kind. There was maid service daily and she was terrific! We didn't see a single lizard - YEAH! So conveniently located close to shopping, restaurants and great boardwalk for walking. We had a lovely time and can't wait to return. August was too hot for us but that was our choice. Couldn't recommend this location enough - Excellent!!
