1st experience at an adults-only resort and will definitely do it again. Pacifica is just so calming and civilized - no spring breakers, no holidaymakers who cannot control their alcohol! Food at this resort is only so-so. Only saving grace is the sushi restaurant but prices are so high that it's a good thing that we were on the all-inclusive. However, la frida at the sister property Sunset Beach (a mammoth resort that you get around in golf carts) is just AMAZING. Great food (mexican with a modern twist), excellent service, and fantastic ambience (breathtaking ocean views on the patio and frida art inside). Highly recommend and with the all-inclusive, you can go more than once! WARNING: the resort folks are pretty relentless in their pursuit of your going to their time share presentation. While the incentive may be tempting ($200 spa voucher but note a massage costs $200!), if you're not interested, just say so very firmly and they leave you alone.

Room Tip: Some oceanview rooms (higher, further away from the ocean) are better than the oceanfront ones (some...

The adult-only all-inclusive was actually very exclusive: Exquisite and expansive food selection, friendly personalized service, well groomed gardens, beautifully architected buildings and spectacular surroundings. A must for any couple who want an escape to pamper themselves and revitalize. Glad we made this choice for our 25th anniversary.

Room Tip: For a little extra, upgrade to the suite: roomy with spectacular views. Get the $75/day spa package...

My wife and I went to the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica on the recommandation of friends and we loved it. The Hotel is very nice and it is adults only so you don't have kids splashing around in the pool or running around the beach. I love kids but it is nice to get away for a while. The food at the resort is quite nice but it can get a bit redundant if you are staying a week or more. I say it is almost perfect because of a couple minor things, the push a bit to attend the time share seminar. If you go, good luck getting back quickly if you are not buying. Also the grounds had some minor issues, cracked tiles, fountains empty and not working, etc. It looks like they are making an effort to get these fixed but when we were there it was still broken.

We did the all inclusive package and they gave us wrist bands to wear which was disappointing but we chose not to put them on and did not have a problem when we told the staff we were all inclusive. We carried the bands in our pockets incase they asked which they rarely did.

I would recommend this place for couples wanting to get away to a nice tropical location.

We are currently at the beautiful Pacifica. The resort is first class, the people are wonderful, and the food is out of this world. However at check-in we were persuaded to take a 90 minute time share presentation with breakfast. It turned into 4 hours and they make you wait for a shuttle to return to your resort - DON'T DO IT!!! The reservations restaurants are incrredible as far as food and service quality. It is early April and very windy after 10 a.m. but the sun shines and the Corona flows!

Room Tip: All rooms face the ocean - choose either beach front or ground floor....

We arrived yesterday to find that their hotel motto "luxury without limitations" is total bull. Be prepared to get mediocre food and drinks however if you pay an extra $8 for top shelf drinks or at least $40 for a steak you may enjoy a bit better.we got the all inclusive package but since we arrived, all they have done is try to up sell us. Oh and just a bit of a warning: do not listen to the aggressive taxi/transport people at the airport when u arrive - they will try and get you to sign up to a timeshare presentation right from the exit of your flight. Just pay the standard 18 for shuttle or 85 for private cab and skip the long sales pitch. We are here for 5 more nights and hoping they step it up. Maybe their sister hotels will not disappoint. If you do decide to partake with their pool bash Wednesday's, dont bother, it's rigged! My husband and I won by a landslide but the pool boy kept giving our neighbors free chips which at the end, they won. Ima little competitive so this naturally irked me.

My wife and i just recently returned from Cabo which was our first trip there and will not be our last. We wanted a nice quiet get away trip since we don't get to take too many and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at PBP. From the moment we arrived and recieved the complimentary champagne and wet towels with fragrance we knew we were going to enjoy our choice. The hotel was beautiful and the grounds were kept immaculate. There was always someone sweeping or cleaning. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with everyone.

The room was nice with a great view of the pacific from the balcony and you could also see the whales which was neat. The only problem we had with the room was the first night my wife wanted two extra pillows so i called housekeeping and someone told me they would bring them right up. After wating about forty minutes no one had arrived so i called again and the told me again they would be right up. After waiting twenty more minutes i just went to the front desk and got the pillows. Upon returning to the room about ten minutes later someone brought four pillows to the room which was a little too late but appreciated. The bed was also a little too hard for me but i guess that is just a matter of preference. The scenery and the ambiance well made up for those minor problems.

We went with the all-inclusive plan and enjoyed being able to visit the other resorts and enjoy them also. We especially enjoyed dining at La Frida at the Sunset. I would definitley reccommend dining there. The sunset was a beautiful resort also but was alot more hectic and had more people. It was nice to go eat there and then go back to our nice quiet resort and enjoy the evening. The food was good at Siempre and ok at the pool. Next time we would dine more at Sunset as we enjoyed the restuarants there more.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay especially being able to leave the door open at night since the temp. was in the fifties and the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore would put you to sleep.

Can't wait to go back and enjoy the wonderful staff and hotel.
