fun and interesting outing, learned about desert plants from Ted our tour guide on a short hike, then Sergio drove us in safari truck to beach (while Ted narrated) where we rode camels along beach (bumpy ride made for challenging selfies), then learned about camels and got to feed Louie and they snap photos (no personal cameras allowed on this part of tour) then to a extra extra delicious lunch including BBQ baby backs, chicken mole', two different salads, rice & beans, all delicious! while Ted explained about Mexican culture, tortillas and different types of Tequila and served plenty of shots, Ted was cool and funny, spoke english well, kept it interesting, well worth the ticket price

So we expected a camel ride but got so much more! Our guide, John, aside from being hilarious is also handsome, smart, witty and humble. (He told us to write that.) But, actually it’s true! (Besides the humble part.)

The camel ride itself was picturesque and bucket-list worthy. But better than that, the authentic Mexican lunch was delicious and the tequila tasting was fun, informative and hilarious. John and Rigo (the driver) were both awesome and we highly recommend this excursion.

5 stars for tour guide Jonathan!! We have done this twice now, last year and just now. It is consistently outstanding and well organized. You take a bus from the dolphin center to the ranch; it's about 30 minutes. The ranch itself is gorgeous desert country, with a beautiful wide dry river bed running through it. You go on a nature hike that lasts about 30 minutes (not strenuous) and the guides are so knowledgeable, teaching really interesting facts about cacti and other desert life. Jonathan was really hilarious and fun; my three kids loved him. Then you have some photo ops with the camels and this is very well done as well. The camel ride is about 20 mins along the beach (just enough camel, in my opinion). Then they have a full on Mexican buffet at the top of the ranch overlooking the ocean. Seriously--really great food is included here. And they do this tequila tasting during the dinner, sampling different kinds of tequila and how to drink it, and they make their own tortillas for a demonstration. The whole thing was about 3 hours and very entertaining. I HIGHLY recommend!

We had a great time on this excursion. The tour guides were great and the food was awesome. Our tour guide Ted was great and he loves to take pictures. Our driver Francisco was and got us safely to each destination. When traveling, we will always book with Cabo Adventures.
