Description: ( Closed Mondays) Floras Field kitchen is about handmade food using our farm fresh ingredients. Our goal is to create a healthy family meal with a sense of place. Our day begins at four in the morning when Jose the baker arrives to fire the wood oven. Working with sourdough cultures and pre ferments he makes loaves of Pain L'ancienne baguette, ciabatta, sourdough, focaccia, whole wheat and herb breads. Chefs, cooks, stewards, the butcher and farm hands begin arriving after first light. Throughout the morning produce comes in to be washed and prepped while the line gets fired up to prepare the first meals- through dinner there is harvesting going hand in hand with cooking. All meats served at Floras Field Kitchen come from our nearby 150-acre ranch where animals are humanely raised on diets that do not include hormones or antibiotics. In the evening, and for Sunday brunches, the wood-burning oven becomes Mamas pizzeria. We make Neapolitan style pizza with fresh mozzarella and dough that is built over time and handled lightly.

“Hard to find but worth it”

Its off a dirt road and definitely off the beaten path, but it's an oasis in the middle of the desert. This is a restaurant nestled in an organic farm. Prices are very reasonable, food is generous and very tasty. The grounds are lovely. We had a great lunch and the prices are reasonable. Makes for a very nice afternoon.

“If you love organic food....don't miss Flora Farms”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 March 2012

Carrot juice margaritas....smoked chicken salad...cinnamon buns...THE BEST by far! The outdoor setting is in a field surrounded by gardens and palm trees with friendly farm dogs sleeping in the sun. An art gallery and a gift shop top off the experience. Live music on Wednesdays and Fridays. Well worth the trip out of town and down the dusty road.

“Flora's just keeps getting better!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 March 2012

We visited Flora's in November and couldn't wait to come back again in March. Four of us had lunch - each ordering something different and sampling bites from one another. From the sausage sandwich to the BLT and the wonderful chicken salads - it all was DELICIOUS! We enjoyed wine and Farmaritas (a nice healthy carrot juice twist to a Margarita) and even managed to save room for some yummy desserts (who could resist?!!!) Flora also sells the most gorgeous produce, crusty breads, and hand made sausages. This will now be our first stop when visiting Cabo - to get these delicious foods to take to our hotel/condo to enjoy throughout the trip. The farm is a lovely, peaceful setting - there is no place like it in all of Cabo! Hands down, my favorite restaurant!!!

“A very different culinary experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 March 2012

First off the food is excellent. Eating at Flora's is a must have experience for those jaded by the typical vacation type restaurants you find in Los Cabos. It has a relaxed atmosphere and the organic vegetable & herb gardens are next to the dining area! The menu is fixed with something different every night. Sunday brunch is great and plan on trying a Farmarita (made with carrot juice).

“FRESH and FABULOUS. PERFECTION!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 March 2012

Just arrived home from a fantastic dining experience at Flora's. We found this out of the way beautiful place last week and went for a glass of wine after a late lunch. We planned our next dinner out from the moment we sat down last week.
Back to this evening: This restaurant is set directly beside the very organic farm from which it fills it's lovely kitchen. Absolutely beautiful setting. It was peaceful and smelled of fresh herbs and totally fresh air. Mostly outdoors with heat lamps for the evening chill. Someone put A LOT of thought into every aspect of this venue. Live guitar music fills the air at just the right volume. When the guitarist is on break, you'll hear French cafe/lounge music. The lighting is well designed. The tables and chairs are rustic and charming.
The menu is adequately filled with directly local ingredients. The tomato salad was the best I've ever had. EVER! We also tried the fried ricotta balls- served in a marinara sauce that you would swear was cooked by a little italian grandmother. The flavors gave a whole new meaning to the word "FRESH" We ordered pizza for the main dish. It was topped with fresh and fragrant basil, melted clumps of mozzarella- we added some bacon. We made a great choice. Once completely satisfied, we moved over to the bar area for a coffee and an after dinner drink. It was so pleasant and really unexpected for being in Cabo. You can never imagine you'll find a place like this in a resport town.
Make the trip out here! it's just beyond Puerto Los Cabos, so it will be a drive from Cabo San Lucas. So worth it. Be sure you know where you are going, the winding dirt road may intimidate you. There are plenty of signs, so trust them. There is only one way in and out of this beautiful farm. I recommend going out when it's daylight for your first visit. Not for tracking, but just so you can experience the daylight-dusk-evening transition. You will fall in love.
The dress is casual. We saw lots of artsy folks which makes for a very cool blend of people and vibe. Lots of smiling faces. Lots of thanking wait staff. Great energy!
If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would!
This is my second favorite in Los Cabos (Edith's in CSL will always own me!) I can't wait to visit the farm again!
