It was our second time in this hotel. And it has been improved since our first visit 10 years ago. Three meals are included in the price you pay per person per room; food is mainly Mexican style with different options everyday if buffet is available or they are cook in the moment when a la carte. You get to pay extra if you ask for any alcoholic drinks.
Rooms are big enough for a family of four, with two double beds and even a sofa bed, and every room has a tub that you could fill with thermal water if you are not comfortable with using any of the pools

We arrived at noon but weren't allowed into our room until 3pm.Despite only about 20% occupancy and the room being ready.
We were allowed to use the pool facilities while we waited but without a room to change in we had to take our suitcase poolside and change in the public bathroom!(In hindsight we could have left our stuff in the car and changed in the car park!!)

When we finally did check-in the receptionist had a face like thunder and seemed annoyed. We were finally shown to our room and then I had to bring all our stuff up from the pool myself- No help from the staff (although he did hang around waiting for a tip-awkward).

Poor building design made for excellent acoustics. The slightest sound was amplified and echoed all around the acommodation.Didn't sleep a wink, it was like sleeping in an echo chamber! Guests above us decided to drag the furniture around at midnight, it sounded like an earthquake in our room.

Service was poor or non-existent.Housekeeping staff were noisy and even banged on our door despite having the "Do not disturb" sign displayed. No pool service.Had to walk the entire length of the hotel to the bar to order anything. Then it took 30 mins to arrive (We had only ordered 2 beers).

Spa was closed the whole time we were there except for the morning we checked out when we didn't have time.Kind of defeated the point of visiting a spa hotel!!

Only 2 wait staff in the restaurant so service was slow.Even though there were only 3 tables to serve!Food was meh :/

Basically we left more tired and stressed than when we arrived.... I would not recommend staying here.

This is a beautiful location & a great concept. The rooms each have a tub you can fill with with thermal water, and it’s fast! The beds are small but comfortable. It’s clean. I was personally disappointed with the spa. The massages are very reasonable, but it took them a long time to find something to massage me with that wasn’t heavily perfumed. They also mislabel what they do as aromatherapy. There are no essential oils involved. But overall, great deal!

Diving into spring waters makes the day no matter what but very honestly i will not recommend a friend to stay here, Why?, the price is to high for what you get.
15 minutes of mud road to get to hotel which actually don't bother. Landscape is good.
Installations are of a 3 star; its clean, has TV, WiFi
Things i hated.
1.- Had a stroller i had to carry because is 0 handicap friendly
2.- Restaurant services on specific hours, If you are outside hours no service
3.- Took one hour to get a michelada on hotel pool. Bar is aparently in other city

Room tip: Go for the day

We arrived before 11pm, thinking they were closed but is open 24/7, thanks goodness! The mud/dirt road entering the hotel was worth it, drove about 20 minutes from the main road to hotel on that dirt road. Checked in was a breeze since we are the only one there. Our room is on the 6th floor leveling the lobby. This hotel is surrounded by mountains, no AC needed since cold breeze from the mountains comes down to cool it. Our room is big enough for 6 people. It has a mini pool inside with plenty hot and cold water. We paid rack rate which was MXN$2,599/night (US$129) including meals/buffet. Our room has a balcony overlooking the pools. The view is amazing. Wifi is good inside the room. Meals was excellent, i have no complaints whatsoever. The main courses are made to order on the menu. The fruits, freshly squeezed juices, cereals, milk, coffee, tea on the buffet tables. We had a great time authentic Mexican cuisines! The pools are drained and cleaned twice a week. We witnessed them doing it. Only thing people eat and drink in the pool. Doesn't bothered me since the water was changed. The staff are friendly. I highly recommend this resort, it's one of a kind.
