After a long day touring we went to their rooftop to relax and admire the view. We only had drinks but the service was very good. Wasnt the cheapest but you expect that when you have a view like we did.

We were on our way to Oaxaca and on the run we stop to eat at "Mi viejo pueblito- Autopista". The 4 of us loved the food and the warm service of the staff. The restaurant is a small location but colorful and beautiful place, when you enter to the location it does take you to a different environment that the one you just entered from (the freeway). I highly recommended if you like us past by Puebla.

This place was on my list of recommended restaurants, but didn't live up to expectations. The decor was nice, the service good. But the food was cold, and the mixed vegetables served with the chicken dish seemed either canned or steamed and reheated. The only saving grace was the dessert of apple strudel with nut sauce, and the fact that it's right on the Zocalo. I would not return here.

From the street, this place looks like all the other cafes that ring the Zocalo (old town square). But, it extends upward 3 storeys, and we ate up on the rooftop which offers a spectacular view over the cathedral and square. Although it is a chain restaurant, the menu was interesting and extensive. Food was good. A group of us spent a very enjoyable evening, following dinner with a couple of rounds of Tequila. Staff were attentive and friendly (and spoke only Spanish).

This place, located just under the East side arches of the city's main square (zocalo) is a decent option for those tourists who do not dare wandering into the narrow alleys in search of better and more typical places to eat. The food is quite good and prepared according to traditional recipes, and also the prices are acceptable despite its central location.
