“Best of Cornish Coastal Holiday Stays”
Reviewed 27 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Superb location, with a well fitted-out apartment - and so near the beach. The Blue Bar and the Unicorn Pub are good for eating (or drinking!) out and the village store seems to stock anything you might need.
No need to go far - the coastal path both ways is excellent - or take a bus from the village to St Agnes and walk back - or into Truro for shopping etc.
Katrina and family are close on hand should you need anything during your stay.
No wonder we go back there year after year!

“Great for families.”
Reviewed 17 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

The apartment is in a fantastic location. We were able to walk out of the back gate, cross the road and be on the beach all within 2 minutes. The coastal path is also within 5 minutes walk, with stunning views guaranteed (we were lucky enough to see dolphins!). The property is well looked after and beautifully accessorised. The owner is friendly and helpful. We would recommend this apartment for those who like a relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting.

“Home away from home.”
Reviewed 13 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We had a lovely week in Sea Echoes, the weather wasn't up to much so we were unable to really enjoy the fab little garden but did enjoy watching the huge waves from the windows as the sea view is fantastic,in better weather we imagined how lovely it would be to use the BBQ and watch the sunset with a glass of wine! Very safe and enclosed for our dog and 3 mins walk out to wonderful walks on beach or coastal path.Everywhere in Porthtowan is so dog friendly.Katrina the owner is upstairs and is so welcoming and friendly and the cream tea on arrival she had provided was lovely after a long journey.Sea Echoes has everything you could need provided and is like a home away from home. The wifi works brilliantly and is a real bonus since there is no phone signal in the village. Will definitely return.

“Perfect relaxing autumn break”
Reviewed 27 November 2013 for a stay in October 2013

We enjoyed a fantastic half term break at Sea Echoes. The apartment was very comfortable and although small the second bedroom was furnished with bunk beds which accommodated our two teenagers very well. All home comforts were thought of and the cream tea on arrival was very much appreciated. The views across to the beach were lovely and we enjoyed sitting in the conservatory watching the somewhat stormy sea from our cosy location. We enjoyed meals at the Blue Bar and The Unicorn and the village shop had enough basics to keep us going and allow us to completely relax. The owner Katrina was very welcoming and helpful and although there was no mobile coverage the wifi was excellent as was the payphone which accepted incoming calls. We all look forward to holidaying at Sea Echoes again although it is already getting very booked up so we may have to get in extra early for 2015 due to limited weeks we can holiday. Thank you for a lovely break!

“smashing stay- great position for this apartment”
Reviewed 18 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

This place is in a prime position- really close to fab beach and local eateries.
The garden is a real plus- when sea breezes are a litte chill retire to the garden where it is at least 5 degrees warmer. The apartment has all the equipment you could need for a satisfying break away- no need to buy buckets, spades or body boards as Katrina has a supply in the green box in the garden for guests use. Be warned -in the summer months the lean-to conservatory gets extremely warm and heats the whole place- can be a bit stifling at times and impossible to eat at table because even with the door open it is simply too hot! But that is a really small issue because you can eat outside at the picnic table! Beds were good, space a little tight in master bedroom but plenty of storage space. If I could recommend anything to improve sea echoes it would be a dishwasher because the sink is very small and drainer not adequate to stack a full set of clean dishes and pans. Shower was great, plenty of hot water for baths too.
Great food at Unicorn and cheap pizzas on Mondays and Tuesdays which were simply delicious. Lovely retro furnishings and cool atmosphere.
I would recommend sea echoes to anyone with kids- you need never move the car at all!
