I ate here 3 times while at a conference and based at a hotel nearby.

The tuna was excellent quality as were the salads - the brownie cheesecake was not worth having. Perhaps their steaks are the best thing on their menu from the testimony of other reviews but i can’t confirm this.

When we came in for a business meeting it was hard to persuade them to turn the music down a bit in the area we were seated. It’s a sports bar vibe at certain times of day (even when fairly empty) and they don’t seem to want to accommodate customers who want to hear each other talk. It took ages for them to sort out our bill that time as well - about 20 minutes or more - and whereas on one occasion they were happy to split the bill this was not possible the second visit.

We had a fabulous meal that was one of the packages for a large family. All the meat was perfectly cooked and had great accompaniments. Love it.

Palomino's is located near the Rio district which close to shopping malls and hotels. We were staying at the Hotel Lucerna so we decided to eat here. There is ample parking in an underground lot and there is also an outdoor lounge and bar area. The main restaurant is elegant and traditional. There are many tables for private parties as well as not large groups. They offer a wide selections of meats, side dishes, salads, wines and desserts. There were two of us and we shared the Palomino Platter with included a very generous portion of Arrachera (the best in Sonora Steaks), two beef ribs, tripitas de leche (grilled cow utters) salad, tortillas, salsa, beans and two coyotes del pueblo for dessert. The service was fast and very attentive and we had three waiters waiting on us. The restaurant is clean and modern. I would highly recommend Palpmino's for a fantastic dinner.

This was a knock out steak. With all the side dishes it's difficult not to hurt your before you finish. Definitely a up beat restaurant so bring a good credit card.

We had an issue with the service as our waiter was slow and didn't pay much attention to us. I ordered the Wine menu and never got it so I didn't bother asking again. We ordered the Palomino's Plate for 2 and was great which consisted of Cabreria, Tripe and ribs accompanied with beans and tortillas and salad. It really does cost much as some people say.
