Wow! What more can I say other than "FANTASTIC!"?

When we got here from the prairies, the landscape changed dramatically. From a flat land, a valley suddenly appeared, with the Red Deer river right in the middle of it. What we saw was intense.

If you travel from the north (Edmonton), these are the first badlands you will see.

Indians hunted the buffalos so that they ran & jumped to their death, falling off the cliffs, in the past. Unfortunately, it was cruel, but the indians needed to do that for survival.

It was very hot in the valley when we got there, on May 31th, 2007. So, dress lightly, and watch it for sunburns!!!

See photos for more details. Don't miss that place. It's really worth the visit.
