Very pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room (King 0ne bedroom) was perfect, including a fireplace and balcony. Tried breakfast at Pacini downstairs. Again, great service and good menu options, with the option to order espresso-based coffee. Didn't try the spa services. Lots of underground parking. Right downtown, so a stone's throw from the shops, cafes, restaurants, but surprisingly quiet. I'll definitely be back.

Room Tip: Drop a couple of extra bucks and get a room with a fireplace. So nice.

Very new, very clean. Layout was awesome. Decor is awesome. Very close to restaurants and shops. Pancini restaurant had an amazing breakfast. Pricey but it's very nice. Didn't go in the pool but it looked great. Would stay here again.

Stayed at the Moose for a family ski vacation April 8-15 - couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. Beautiful hotel with modern spacious rooms, secure underground parking and a great restaurant and bar inside (although a bit overpriced for breakfast). The two rooftop hot tubs come with amazing mountain views and were perfect after a day skiing. All of this and you are only a short walk from any spot in dowtown Banff - there is a reason this place is the #1 rated hotel in Banff. Don't hesitate to stay here!

My wife and I travelled to Banff from Toronto for the weekend to visit our son.

As a frequent traveller and reviewer of hotels etc, I found Moose and booked it.

Soooooo pleased we did.

Simply beautiful. Wood, stone construction. Immaculate. We booked a 2 queen room which are on the first floor with a balcony. A medium sized room with a great bathroom and walk in shower. Comfortable beds and pillows.

Now the best part. The beautiful lobby with fireplace, roof top hot tubs and a fireplace all with spectacular views. Amazing amazing.

Price point is more than other area hotels but even someone like me who is frugal, well work the money. (book through their www).

Perfectly placed in town.

A must stay.

We are already planning a return in August from Toronto.

We loved our stay at Moose hotel! Our bed was really comfortable, the fireplace was perfect for the atmosphere, and it was quiet and convenient. Right in town, with easy access to the shops, but with free parking we could drive where we wanted without any concerns about parking! We stayed in the superior one bedroom suite on the 3rd floor.

Room Tip: I think rooms are quieter on the higher floors, we stayed on 3rd and it was great.

So glad that we chose to stay here, it was in the perfect location and is a beautiful hotel. Rooms very comfy and had everything you could possibly need, with the exception of bathrobes. You do get a bathrobe if you book a spa treatment though.

Room service from the Pacini restaurant wasn't great - no hot water in the teapot, no cutlery, forgotten toast etc. It was also disappointing to be told we were not allowed to take any alcoholic drinks from the bar to sit in front of the gorgeous fire in the lobby - apparently the hotel itself doesn't have a liquor licence.

The rooftop pools are amazing and were the highlights of our stay. Will not hesitate to stay again if we're ever back in Banff.

We stayed overnight during Easter weekend. First off, the hotel is beautiful, including the room. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. We were on the first floor, and if you sit on your balcony, your face is level with the ground....really, 330$ for a room halfway in the basement? Not worth it. The room was clean, but the stuff behind the tv was incredible. Coffee cup, energy drink, dirty q-tips...the cleaning staff has to do a better job. And breakfast? Overpriced and not too good. Get rid of the bread bar...since when should I make my own toasts (that were way too long to make and not that good)? Would i go back? Nope.

Room Tip: Not on the first floor

Dear Rainys1963,

We are happy to know that you liked the hotel. We apologize that the housekeeping was inadequate before your arrival; we will pass along your feedback to our Executive Housekeeper for review and action.

Please know that we have rooms with 2 queen beds on upper floors as well. On your next stay, don't hesitate to call the front desk and our team will be happy to help you with anything you might need.

We are also sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your breakfast experience at the restaurant. The bread bar is an integral part of Pacini's dining concept; most guests love it!

We hope to see you again!
