Moose Hotel and Suites
Ranked #1 of 33 Hotels in Banff
Reviewed 23 May 2017 via mobile

We were only able to stay one night at the Moose, and wished we could have stayed longer. It is a new hotel, only a short walk from shopping and restaurants in Banff. The beds were very comfortable. Nice toiletries were provided in the spotless bathroom, including some handmade soap lavender soap. There is a restaurant in the hotel but we didn't make use of it. We did enjoy the open air roof top hot pools and fire pit in the evening. So amazing sitting there with the Rockies as the backdrop. Check-in and checkout were smooth and staff was very friendly. The hotel was nice and quiet overnight.Would definitely stay here again.

Great experience, but too pricey. We would stay again, if we could get s deal
Never eat at the restaurant (or room service).

That's all I have to say. Oh the real fireplace in the lobby is nice. And the location is great.

I can't say enough good things about Moose! We had a 2 bedroom roof suite. Well appointed, comfortable, great location, friendly staff, fireplaces. And the restaurant is fantastic - real Italian, delicious.

Room Tip: Roof suites are great

We, 3 adults and a small dog, stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The room is small for 3 adults, but very clean and has a huge shower! It's quiet as the hotel is located at a couple of blocks from busy downtown. It would have been nice if there was a nice place to walk our dog. (The hotel provides a dog bed and a water bowl; even though we brought ours, it was a very nice gesture to the guests travelling with their dogs.)

Room Tip: If you are travelling with a dog, ask them a room on the ground floor.

Wonderful well furnished King suite with separate sitting area, kitchenette, fireplace and views of the forests and mountains! Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent on site restaurant for breakfast, covered parking, walking distance to everything in downtown Banff. Beautiful outdoor hot tub area with mountain views. Ask front desk to borrow bear spray so you may not have to buy your own.

Room Tip: Recommend top floor king suites with views of mountains and forests
