Hotel was clean and price was perfect! Large hotel and you can get lost very easy! Outside hot tub was closed indefinitely which was a disappointment. Traveled with 2 dogs and pleasantly surprised in the room there was a doggie bed, 2 bowls for the dogs, a doggie toy and a treat bone! Very nice touch!! Thank you!

We were of family of 8 & wanted to be together & the 4 bedroom Condo was perfect for us. It had all the amenities - good kitchen, fire place, 4 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms plus ensuite to main bedroom minus the shower. It is definitely an older building compared to some other accommodation in Banff, but staff were very friendly & informative. I would stay here again

This is our second time at the inns of Banff. Our room was clean as always. Went with another couple there room was clean as well. Good room rates won't break the pocket book. Love the free roam bus pass it's great and easy to use. The bus takes you pretty much any where you need to go in Banff! Was very sad to find out the out door hot pool is broken as we loved it our last stay I talked to one of the staff and due to intensive damage will not ever be opening. Have to say they don't advertise that the out door pool is closed until you get there. They still have an indoor pool and hot tub but not near the same. Indoor pool is not heated and very chilly! Maybe inclined to check out another hotel our next stay in Banff just for the hot pool and a little closer to down town as inns of Banff is right on the edge of town!

Thank you for your review and kind words Myles C. I am very pleased to hear that you and your travelling companions found your rooms clean and value for money. I am also delighted you took advantage of the ROAM bus passes which are complimentary when staying with us. This is a great service to those wanting to explore Banff without having to worry about parking which can be difficult to find over busy periods. You are correct in your observations that our outdoor pool is now closed. This difficult decision was taken some time ago when it was discovered that the structure had become compromised. The pool was closed to ensure the safety of our valued guests. We do have plans in the works for a full hotel renovation though. Although we do not yet have set dates when this is going to take place a new and modern outdoor hot pool is included in our plans.

We stayed in a different hotel every night on our trip. This hotel was clean and had a great view of the ski hill. Location wise it is at the end of town but still walkable. Service was great and very welcoming at the front desk ! Nice to have the balcony! This hotel was good value and had some recent updates but still could use a few more.

The building was an absolute maze when we arrived, which meant my friends and I wandered up and down the stairs and across the bridge until we figured out how the floors were organized. Then we went to go to the outdoor hot tub but apparently it was closed. Their indoor pool was tiny, but the indoor hot tub was okay.

The room was clean, however they need to replace some of the ceiling in the bathroom as it has grown mold from the moisture.

On the plus side we had a nice view and the food in the basement bears den bar was great (and inexpensive).

Rented a regular room. Parking after 6pm was limited. Heat was turned off when we entered room it was freezing. There was a small fridge and a kettle and coffee maker-no toaster or microwave. Pool was full of skiers with alcohol at 6pm. Furthest hotel away from downtown on the main road, I wouldn't say it was walking distance if you have kids.

Stayed here since the Mt Royal fire forced us to find alternate accommodation. Should have heeded the past reviews. This hotel is old, tired, dirty, and poorly maintained. I can live with a tired room, but there is no excuse for dirty. Unvacuumed corners, beer and wine stains on the walls and door. Carpet stank of many spilled beers. There was a prevailing odor of marijuana smoke in the hallways. This hotel is a party hotel for the young generation. Why wouldn't you tell us that? Furthermore, we knew of the large outdoor hot tub when we booked and it swayed us to stay, but there was no mention of it being permanently closed. Didn't find out until we walked up to get in it. At 8am each morning our room filled with fumes from the diesel buses idling in front of the fresh air intake of the central heating inlet. I don't believe there is a manager at this hotel -if so, fire them and hire someone who knows how to run a hotel. Very pathetic.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel.

Hotel management at 'The Inns of Banff' were available to speak to you regarding your concerns during your stay vball_canuck. In fact it would be our preference that if any guests are experiencing issues like those posted in your review that they would ask to speak to a manager so that a follow up can be started immediately. I am sorry that you did not do this so we could have tried to resolve at least some of the problems you encountered. I am also sorry that we did not meet your expectations during your visit to Banff, but hope our beautiful town and mountain views did not let you down.
