We stayed at the juniper hotel in Banff for 4 days. We could never seem to properly regulate the temp in the room. It was cold and snowing there, when we stayed. The room was tiny and not overly comfortable. The hotel itself I found not a warm setting. The ride to the hotel was covered in ice.. maybe they didnt want to spend the money to salt it. I will say the restaurant and bar was good. Too bad the rooms were not.

Our stay in this suit was very nice; It was clean and well provided with sink and refrigerator. Really it was very swank except the lighting was dim and there was no elevator. So ask to stay on the first floor or be sure you can tote those bags.

The hotel has three King Suites that offer one king bed, a sitting area, kitchette and a larger balcony with panoramic mountain views. These rooms are a great upgrade should you be looking to stay in something larger then the traditional hotel guestroom. The hotel does not have an elevator as the building was constructed in the 1950s. Our staff are always available to bring luggage to our guestrooms :)

Came up for my birthday ended up having dinner at the bistro and absolutely loved it! Best steak of my life, great service and amazing views in the dining room.
Loved the spot so much that I came back the next day for brunch and brunch was amazing!!

Spent a week here while exploring the National Park. Great location just off the trans Canada highway - couldn't hear the traffic at night though! Decent sized room with 2 beds, nice bathroom. Restaurant was good though maybe a bit fancy if you're just looking for a steak and chips after a hike. Hot tub was good. Slightly pricey but no more so than anything else that we looked at in the national park.

Thank you for choosing The Juniper Hotel to be your basecamp while you explored Banff National Park. I'm happy that you enjoyed our convenient location and were able to relax in the hot tub.
