Pleased with the location - on the edge of town but not too far out. Our triple room was a little small for 3 adults. Enjoyed the assortment of breakfast. Although we had been enjoying the Cave pool we had an occasion where the chemicals were obviously far too intense - burning our eyes while we were in, completely fading our swimwear and leaving our skin irritated. I pointed this out to the reception staff. Didn't have the confidence to use it after that incident.

Room tip: You will need to book a larger room/suite if you are more than a couple

After spending a White Christmas in Big White we travelled to Banff for New Years. We checked into the beautiful Fox Hotel & Suites and I have to say it is stunning. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that had a loft bedroom and ensuite located upstairs. The suite was quite spacious with great views of the mountains surrounding us.

It was freezing when we there (-38 degrees at one point) so we had a few meals at the hotel in Chili’s restaurant. The food is great with huge portion sizes.

There is also a laundry room at the hotel so it was great to be able to do some washing and only cost a few dollars.

Room tip: Suite with a loft bedroom was great

The Fox hotel and Suites was perfect for us - me, him and to older teen girls (15 & 18yrs).
We had a 2 bed king loft. Girls shared a massive king bed in the loft which has its own ensuite. He and me had our own room with our ensuite.
We used the hot tub which is more like a cave under the hotel. Just after lunch it was quiet, would have thought it would be busier late afternoon/evening- it’s a lovely experience and boy it did help the muscles!!
The hotel staff were very helpfully and friendly.
We spent quite a few evenings at Chillys, which is in the hotel. Must try the cauliflower dipped in hot sauce, if you love buffalo wings in hot sauce you’ll love this too!!
Walking distance to the shop is fine 10 mins ish.. We enjoyed our stay hope you do too.

One of the best Hot Tubs I have ever been to! Outdoor, but down in the "famousl caves/Hot tub" good restaurant on site, and had Tv's to watch sporting events. Nice big fireplace in the lobby. Free shuttle to Banff downtown (all hotels do). upgrade to the suite for the $30. doubled the size of the rooms. Can not beat the Beautiful Mountains view of the Banff Area.

Room tip: upgrade to the suite for $30. doubles the size of the room -

Very nice and clean, but no room for your luggage. Room is so small that we had to use the small desk to put our suitcases, and under that same desk and under the sink. We travel with 4 crayons 2 children and two adults, the males double beds, the males room ever. Room NOT suites. Will not go back there, it was very uncomfortable, so small.

Hello Julio,
I'm sorry to hear you and your family were tight for space. It sounds like you were booked into one of our standard rooms.
The suites have a sitting area and a kitchenette with dining table and offer a lot more living space for families.
If you are coming back to Banff, please don't hesitate to contact us directly so we can help you choose the perfect room configuration for your stay.
Warm Regards,
Cathy Smith
