We stayed in a lodge for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The lodge had all of the amenities we needed, balcony with chairs, lounge with fire and TV, kitchen and dining table and bedroom with a TV. Granola bars are left in the room each day which is appreciated, and tea/coffee and fruit is available in the reception/lounge each morning. There are laundry facilities on site. The room was cleaned to a high standard.

Parking on site is great. Staff were able to give recommendations on things to do, both in advance of our stay and during the stay itself.

The location is great, very close to Moraine Lake (a car is needed) and a 15 minute walk to Lake Louise.

This accommodation doesn't have a restaurant on site, however we enjoyed exploring other restaurants each night. There are some basic snacks for purchase on site which is useful.

The local amenity shop in the village is expensive (around £4 for a loaf of bread) so bring food/drink from elsewhere if you can.

We had friends who stayed at the Fairmont Chateau who said it was like a circus, this was peaceful and calm, we would definitely recommend staying here.

Individual cabins or lodge suites. We had Fairview suite.

Large suite with sitting area inc kitchen, separate bedroom and bathroom.
Shower over bath.
Kitchen with 4 hobs, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker and kettle.
Sitting area has gas open flame fire looks good but doesn’t seem to give out much heat.
Balcony or patio with small table and chairs.

Assigned parking space close.

Quiet at night but noisy during the day from traffic to Lake Louise.

Good Wi-Fi in room inc.

15/20 min walk to Lake Louise is a big bonus! Short drive to Lake Morianne if you go early or late.
Expensive but limited choice close to Lake Louise.

No resturant.

Spent 2 nights here in a “Wilson” bungalow. Absolute delight of a stay. Bungalow was clean and warm, staff were very helpful, can’t say enough about how lovely this place is. Only a 20 min walk to lake Louise itself, which turned out to be vital as the car park was full by 7am!

Free cereal bars and oatmeal available for breakfast, coffee also available in reception when open.

It’s not cheap but on par for the area. Would totally stay again at our little cabin in the woods!

i think it is worth staying around lake louise area for a couple of nights if you have time as it is so busy all the time there i would imagine it to be a nightmare just coming here for one day and trying to get around to both of the lakes and then returning to banff or where ever. the paradise lodge is in a great location as you can walk to lake louise, as we did, and it only took 15 mins. so you could go whenever you wanted. and we went out to Lake Morianne one night at 8 pm which was great as all the crowds had left and it was quiet and beautiful and took no time to get there and back from lodge. rooms were spacious and very equipped if you want to bring your own food and cook yourselves as they dont have any restaurant on site.but it was only a few minutes either way if you wanted to go out for dinner. nice gas fire place too. and beautiful grounds with sitting areas and bbqs.

Room tip: if you have a lot of luggage I would recommend bottom floor accommodation

So enjoy our time in a cabin here! Beautifully maintained. Quiet. Muffled train noise at night is soothing and reminds you where you are! Warm, very capable, kind staffers! Well maintained grounds. Good shower. Comfortable bed, chairs and table to eat at. A cozy delight!
