We had an amazing time at Whitehorn bistro. We planned a small (8) people civil ceremony. Adrian helped make it special and private. He and his team were very accommodating and professional.

Views are amazing, food is spectacular and service is on point.

Our favourite spot in the mountains

My wife and I recently got married at Whitehorn Bistro up on Lake Louise Ski Resort. We are long-time fans of Lake Louise and absolutely love the Whitehorn patio. It's by far one of the best patios in the Rockies! Incredible views, cold beer, great food and friendly staff.

On our wedding day, we arrived to meet Adrian and his team ready to take us and our guests up the gondola. Adrian was amazing and made sure everything was in place for our special day. The ride up was perfect as always – amazing views and fresh air (the fact that we got to ride into our wedding on a gondola was AWESOME; not many people can say that!). Once at the top, we usually walk the short 200 yards to the restaurant, but Adrian had generously coordinated a shuttle van that was perfect for our older guests who aren't used to such altitude.

The patio was all set up and looked beautiful with fresh flowers and the chairs arranged perfectly. We opted not to have an archway because it would only block the amazing views of Lake Louise in the background (you don't need many decorations with such incredible scenery behind you!).

Our ceremony went off without a hitch, and after some family photo's the restaurant team popped the champagne and started bringing out delicious appetizers. The food and chef are amazing, letting you customize the menu for pretty much anything you like.

After a beautiful lunch at nearly 7,000 feet we made our way back to the gondola for another smooth ride down, again with spectacular views. It was by far one of the coolest experiences we've ever had; we couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience (and our guests were raving about it!).

Adrian and his team were amazing and took incredible care of us and our guests. We can't wait to stop in again for lunch on our favorite patio in the Rockies! Special thanks to everyone at Lake Louise who helped make our special day so memorable.

After the huge crowds at the lake, it was nice to eat at a restaurant where you could walk in and select indoor or outdoor seating - both with a great view and no wait. Our waitress was more chatty than efficient but the food was great.

We took the Gondola up Lake Louise Mountain and were very surprised at the quality of the food at Whitehorn Bistro. The staff were great and the view of Lake Louise and the surrounding mountains are truly incredible. They are in the running for the best burger I have ever had.

A tad pricey, but it's on a mountain, surrounded by mountains - so good value in my book.

We came here for a late lunch and this place was amazing! Delicious great presentation and an amazing view to boot. This place is set on top of Lake Louise so you have to take the gondola to get to this great bistro set on top of the world overlooking Lake Louise and surrounded by mountains and evergreens. The patio is huge and very inviting, inside is cozy and a nice casual feel to it.
We started off with their Heirloom Tomato & Basil Salad with Buffalo Mozzarella, Quinoa, Sundried Tomato Pesto, Balsamic Reduction.
Lettuce Wrap with Chicken in Coconut Peanut Sauce & Asian Slaw.
Pork Belly & Scallops 48 hour cured, with Celery Root Puree, Confit Tomatoes, Fennel Corn Bilini & White Asparagus Espuma.
All three of these dishes were excellent! Flavorful and colorful, the Quinoa had an amzing earthy flavor and the heirloom tomatoes were firm with a slight tartness that the mozzarella complimented it. I loved all the dishes served here, the only thing negative was that the portion was not filling. I was still hungry when i took the gondola down. This is a great place to eat if you ever have a chance and soak up the view.
