Blackfoot's rooms are reasonably priced and the service is above average. Nice restaurants and buffets which are also reasonably priced . The staff is courteous and helpful. The hotel is close to downtown and the Stampede grounds.

Have stayed here several times, pet friendly including treats and toys for your 4 legged friend! Our puppy loved it and played with the tennis ball after eating the treats. Housekeeping cover the furniture with sheets, nice touch.Front desk super friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay again!

Dan M:

Thanks very much for your positive comments. Most of the staff at the hotel have a pet of some sort so it is not much of a stretch to want to make pets feel equally as welcome as our two-legged guests.

Great hotel. Very good location off of main roads. Close proximity to the shopping mall Chinook center. Very clean Lobby and rooms. Updated lounge area. Very nice bathrooms, beds and decor. Terrible pillows.

All and all, would stay again.

Thank you for your positive comments. Sorry to read that the pillow wasn't so great. We do put a couple of varieties in each room. If none of those suit your sleeping style, please phone the front desk and we will provide a couple of alternatives to what is in the room. We hope to see you back again in the near future, for a better night's sleep.

This newly renovated hotel south of downtown Calgary is comfortable, clean, and staffed by friendly professional people who are always willing to help. They have a club floor with lounge, a fitness center and pool, and the room service and food options are great. Definitely recommended if you have business in south Calgary. I have stayed multiple times and have always been happy with the services. As mentioned in other reviews, the surrounding area feels a little industrial but seems safe and friendly overall. The hotel is approximately 20 minutes from the airport and front desk can arrange transport.

We were only here for two nights.
The food was surprisingly tasty and the staff were very friendly.
However, it does look stark from the outside and is in a very industrial area, but the beds were good and everything seemed clean.

Thanks for your comments. We are working hard and as fast as we can to renovate the exterior and bring it on par with the interior. We're getting there...
