This may have been a neat place to go when it was set up 20 or so years ago but it seems to have lost its lustre and is mostly now just some restaurants and bars. Definitely not a destination in Calgary

One of Canada's less exciting shopping malls, but there is safe parking (very cheap at weekends), and a variety of fast-food joints. A large cineplex movie theatre complex. Maybe what is nearby (Princes Island) is more interesting than the Eau Claire Market, which is not as popular as it used to be?
Sorry but many years ago used to be very trendy but now just an empty shell - they have lost the market feeling it used to have that made it a great spot and turned it into a tired mall.
Stores have been steadily pulling out of Eau Claire over the past few years, and there's not much left.
On weekends, it's a great place to park if visiting Prince's Island or a nearby attraction: $2 gets you an all-day underground spot.
There are some fast-food and a couple of restaurants, and a few specialty stores. Certainly not enough to qualify as a destination-attraction. It's worth a walk through if you're nearby (visiting Prince's Island, perhaps).
In the 90s, the Eau Claire market was a vibrant urban marketplace with lots of vendors and interesting arts etc. But time hasn't fared this well, and it continues to slide into oblivion.
This is a great place to visit if you like an all around foodie and unique shopping experience.Great variety ! My husband even enjoyed it.
There's very little to see nowadays at Eau Claire, sadly. On the weekends and evenings it's pretty much deserted. I also deducted review points because parking is expensive and can be hard to find.
