“Historically interesting with very mixed design ideas”

A must-see attraction when in Calgary. A strange mixture of design ideas, but interesting Olympic facts and pavement with names of people and businesses. With a nice central ice skating rink.

I love Olympic Plaza as there is always something going on or it is just nice to sit and read over lunch hour. This summer we saw the big red ball there! Too funny!

Olympic Plaza is awesome. Located about 10 steps from the C-Train station, Olympic Plaza is conveniently located right next to Theatre Calgary, and about a block from awesome restaurants. It is also right next to The Famous 5 statue, be sure to check it out. Be sure to check out the rainbow-colored gophers that are on the wall near the skating rink. In Winter, there is free Ice skating on the rink near the rainbow gophers, you will definitely not miss it. In the little booth near the Theatre, you can rent skates for about 5 dollars. It is also very close to the Glenbow Museum. A must-see if you are in Calgary.

We were walking towards Studio Bell and stopped to listen to music and performers in the park. Nice place to just relax in an urban environment.

it's a small inner-city place that's got little to promote it. Reminds me of the usual half-hearted effort that Canadian cities erect but which just fit into the landscape of the city core.
I'd not recommend this insipid effort to anyone. Better to go to the ambassadors of big and beautiful, the nearby Rocky Mountains. Now they are impressive!
