This is my second time at an escape room, first in Calgary, the other one was a scary theme in Vancouver.

Escape Capers blew my other experience out of the water. We did the Maxim Dinner Party game. Started with a fun mental warm up game in the waiting room, which a really nice touch. Not sure of any other rooms that does this.

The room set up was meticulous, made it seem like we were really at a dinner party. Really intriguing twists. The hosted element, having a butler in the room, definitely enhanced the experience. Great team building activity. My co-workers' first time there any everyone just loved it. A variety of puzzles for everyone.

Our family of five (three teens) celebrated Easter and a special family birthday at Maxime's dinner party. What a blast! This experience was a first for us, and we were able to work through some clues, and bungled others completely - thank heaven for the in-room maids providing timely hints. It boiled down to a very fun hour! We celebrated our demise with a live dinner out following. Time very well spent!

We visited Escape Capers for the first time this past weekend. Our group of 4 tried to solve Dick Dickerson's unfortunate demise. We came "this close" (we literally needed 10 more minutes.) to saving ourselves from arrest for poor Dick's murder. But alas, in the end the clock ran out and we had to go to jail. ;)
We had a great time, the puzzles were challenging but not impossible and our gracious host kept us on the right path without giving anything away.
A wonderful facility, friendly helpful hostess, great staff, great website.
I highly recommend this to anyone interested in trying out an Escape Caper!!
We will definitely go back.

This is our new favourite thing to do with our grown kids. We had so much fun working together to solve the puzzles, unlock the locks and find our way out. We've now done all 3 of their rooms with groups ranging in size from 4-8. It's great to be able to work as a team but still use our individual strengths to "rescue" ourselves.

We LOVE having the guide right in the room with us. They give us tiny clues when we're heading in a wrong direction - not enough to spoil the experience, just enough to keep us on track. The latest room, Dick Dickerson, is the best yet. The puzzles are all thematic and keep the experience of the room intact.

The staff is fun, well trained and professional. Well done, everyone!

Our group of 6 were all new to this whole world of the escape rooms . We were terrible at it! Thank God we had a guy in the room for clues !!! We even did intermediate and we were still hopeless !
It was super fun irregardless , we had a huge laugh at ourselves afterwards , needless to say we did not escape !!!!
Highly recommend it !
The only thing I'd like to tell the owners/managers and you as the potential Customer is it smelled pretty awful inside ! Once we got in the locker room it didn't smell but upon walking in it smelled like sewage ..... There are port- a- potties just outside the doors by the location so not sure if it has anything to do with that but I just thought it should be said ... Hopefully they can rectify that !

Thank you for coming down and trying out our hosted escape room experience. I'm glad to hear you had tons of fun. I'm sorry to hear you visited on one of the days there was a smell in the area. Being in an industrial area, we do get a couple days each month where there is a discernible odour outside, and that you can see port-a-potties nearby reinforces what you are smelling (though it's actually not the port-a-potties that smell, just the area). Anyway, I'm glad you pointed out that it didn't actually smell inside the rooms, just while you were walking in, from your car to our front door.

Unfortunately we can only control what it smells like inside our building (generally fresh laundry), but we would like to let people know that the smell in the area is not an everyday occurrence, and overall it does not cause a problem, as you can see from the majority of our reviews not mentioning it.

Thanks again for your visit and your review!
