Stopped in for an early supper to avoid the traffic on the Deerfoot. Restaurant opens at 5 for supper so we were the first guests. The atmosphere was excellent for a business meeting and staff were very helpful and deserve a 5 out of 5 - no problem accommodating a gluten free requirement. The scallop starter was excellent and the pork tenderloin was very good.

We frequent this restaurant on a regular basis. The beef short rib dish is amazing and never disappoints!!! The truffle gnocchi and homemade hummus with pita bread are also delectable starters.

We celebrated my wife's birthday as well as my family's visit to Calgary. It was an exceptional night.
Quiet by most restaurant standards, but we appreciated it.
The place gives you that 1960's Danny Ocean (Frank Sinatra), Dean Martin vibe. It is entertaining. One expects a lounge entertainer to come out and start singing.
Service was very good, attentive, responsive and handled in a team format, with a main server and food brought to the table by other helpers. They got the plates to the right people. Drinks must be prepared by a seasoned professional. Done right.
Food, exceptional and well portioned, as they are very rich. Yes, one can ask for more, I am sure, but one need not leave such a classy restaurant bloated.
Dishes ordered all well prepared, be the beef or pasta. The hit of the evening was the truffle gnocchi. The surf and turf first dish is original and tasty. The braised rib was exceptional. The ling cod was forgettable. The served broth was weak and they served it with too much forbidden rice.
Desserts were exciting, with the Broken Peach Crumble, original and the Death by Chocolate living up to expectations (pun intended).

Was not able to see the wine list...as my wife and I had been invited. One could possibly look at this on their website.

Yes, would go again.

Five of us had a rather nice dinner in this attractive restaurant on the near south side of Calgary. Excellent blue cheese salads, perfect truffled gnocchi and prawn ceviche, though a rather ordinary surf and turf combo. Our main courses were equally delicious, especially the duck arepa, cod with black rice and albacore tuna.

The lamb rack was the exception - it had specifically been asked for well done (“ and I mean well done, no pink”). I realise most don’t want it that way, but that was the request and we were assured it would be followed. But when it came it was pink - tasty enough, though not tender. Again, I accept that some chefs may not wish to serve meat that way, but - if so - the customer should be informed accordingly, so another dish can be chosen.

All that said, the deserts were delicious and the service acceptable.
